The only place where journalists have any credibility anymore is comic books. The media isn't the mechanism governed by truth it used to be. As with everything else, it exists to make money, and nothing makes money like sensationalism. If they aren't covering what some fringe celebrity may or may not have injected into their bum or lips, they're touting someone playing the victim.

There was a time when they would gather all the facts and have a solid verdict before publicizing anything, but now it's just a race to put it out first and to be as loud as possible without really saying anything.
