They can say what they want about it being moved, but I will always believe that the unintended statement that it made in the original location was the reason it was moved. The bull is the symbol of the robust, free wheeling, strong stock market moving full steam ahead. The girl symbolized women defiantly holding back the bull from his potential, and simply getting in the way of success, and progress. It symbolized their willingness to wade into things they don't understand or are ill equiped for for no other reason than that they could, and only because it made them feel useful, even if that meant that the market imploded as a result of their selfish act.
