This reminds me of a tv show I saw once, where they took morbidly obese people who didn't think they had diet issues, and lined them up in front of tables that had an entire weeks worth of the food they ate. (It was always an astonishing amount of food.)

Only when they saw it all at once did they realize what a disgusting glutton they were, and made them willing to change.
