i'm gonna be honest here, star wars was always kind of SJWish. people rant and rave about the female jedi in the newest movie. but the fact is, princess lea, and the one in the prequels was the same. ok maybe those characters couldn't kick everyones asses easily, but they were typical "don't need no man" feministy types. remember the scene when they rescue her from the death star? all she does is make fun of them the entire time. a dozen or so scenes where she corrects them, or makes them out to be idiots while rolling her eyes everywhere. i love star wars, but i didn't see anything NEW in this new movie. jj abrams actually got the vibe just about right. and anakin was a whiney faggot in the prequels. the new darth lord isn't worse than that.

the main thing i dont like about the new star wars movie is how the girl is perfect at everything. knew how to fly without being taught, knew how to use a lightsaber without learning, used the force to do things it took luke 2 movies to learn how to do, and beat a fkn sith lord lol.

I enjoyed TFA. But then again, I watched it for what it was, a pretty good job of doing everything right that the prequels managed to suck at.

Now here's what DID jump out at me. Some of the characters. How this made it past Disney's PC police I don't know.

Ok Kylo Ren/Ben Solo I can see the big shots smirk a little when they approved this one. The bad guy is a skinny, whiny millennial with daddy issues. In 1977, Vader was the ultimate bad guy and he was unquestionably a MAN. Kylo Ren is slightly effiminate and needs constant supervision from Snoke and Hux. Vader would just force choke someone when they fucked up and then move on like nothing happened. Kylo Ren throws temper tantrums and destroys equipment and the stormtroopers are like "there he goes again, let's go on break." He whines to Vader's mask about how he needs help. Then he gets his ass handed to him by a chick. Nobody respected him like Vader was respected. He paraded around in a mask he didn't even need just because he wanted to dress up like dear old grandfather.

Finn. Lies to impress the hot chick. Useless in a crisis. Useless in combat. His MOS was sanitation. He was a fucking janitor. Nice job, Disney. Let's just pile on every stereotype of blacks we can.

Phasma. The STRONG WOMYN leading the evil First Order stormtroopers. Turns into a wimp and does what she's told when captured. Tossed into a garbage chute just to make an Episode IV joke.

Hux. Fag.

Han Solo. Went His Own Way. Yeah he married Leia and knocked her up, then things went south so he said fuck it and left to go make money with his best friend who takes no shit from anyone. Gave his life trying to help his son, and that I don't have a problem with a father doing.
