Believe it or not this is true, the past girlfriend had a MAJOR problem with our relationship because we never fought, I thought it was a joke at first Till I saw how genuinely upset she was about it over time..apparently she saw fighting as a healthy thing for a relationship...

The real problem is that, if he "loves her so much" that he "never fights" with her, it's hard to tell if you have a diligent partner or someone who patronizes you. I've been told once, you can only have real fights with people who you love, because only with them do you really care about their opinion. If he doesn't care about her opinion or doesn't care about making her understand his opinion, it's like he doesn't value her as a sentinent person, just as an object he maintains. He could also just be too afraid to tell her what he thinks, but again this is not a partnership. Who in their right mind would want to be with someone that is afraid of them? I've been with a man who never told me any critical thoughts, because he was constantly afraid I'd break up. Again, that's not an equal partnership, that's just stringing someone along.
