Here's a short list of items every man could consider owning. I'm throwing out my short list with explanations, please consider sharing your ideas and additions to this.

  1. His own property. Likely the biggest purchase in his life, yet contributes most to his financial success/net worth.

  2. Tools. Not only good source of saving money (you fix everything yourself, not call people to do it) but also a great source of pride ("I fixed/built that"). Few hundred bucks will get you basics- hammers, cordless drill, tape measure, wrench set, etc.

  3. Guns. If you're not armed, you're at the mercy of others. Governments can trample on your rights, criminals have free reign over you (a lot can happen with 10-30 minutes until police shows up). Get a legal gun and know how to use it- even if you live in the pussified EU.

  4. Journals. Not only are we living more eventful lives than married men, we sometimes have more solitary lives. A journal is a great way to "talk" with someone- if there's a mental problem, I write it through and solution presents itself. Journalling does miracles with mental health and captures life story.

Anyway, please feel free to comment/add to this list.
