I can offer a point that should make this easier to tolerate.

At some point, these will be challenged as a violation of the due process clause of the 14th Amendment, even if it is a private school that takes federal money. It will make its way up to the Supreme Court where there are 6 decent justices and at least one of which has been falsely accused.
