I bet after college, he will be pursuing some high paying jobs and she will be doing some low paid part time work.
[–]Bourbonandcigars0622 points23 points24 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yup and food for him. Great path forward
[–]PrinceAladdin8 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
100% and she'll probably leave him before. and when he is getting good pay and living the good life she'll be crying and wanting him back.

Happy cake day!
[–]PrinceAladdin1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
thanks bro

that's because the patriarchy forced her to get a gender studies degree that only qualifies her to bag groceries or pour coffee, while he got to take up the rich prestigious career track. it's entirely his fault, and not at all a product of personal choices. for this reason, men must pay reparations to wamxn!

As someone who had to move back home before you’ll immediately notice that women don’t want you no matter the reason if this is the case. Shallow cunts. Never forget AWALT, but of course it’s okay if women live at home till they are 30 so they can buy a house and skip apartment living.

If he so happened to obtain an engineering degree and landed a 100k/year job. I wonder what will she say then? Maybe something like this? "my...I find him so sexy recently. He seems so manly and sexy. The more I think about it, the more turned on I am. I think we're meant to be." -- Females
They don't want you at your worst. They only want you when you're successful. If you slipped up and lost your money/job, they will dump your ass without hesitation. Why would you want to pair up with a disloyal person like that? You shouldn't! They got nothing good to offer!

Go get knocked up by a jobless bad boy you fucking woeful CUNT
[–]jotta5416 points17 points18 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
In answer, about as shallow as one can get.
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yep. She likes the guy, but suddenly he's living at home and is now unattractive. Yes, that's shallow.
[–]fiasco_jack10 points11 points12 points 6 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
“Quit the navy” can someone tell me how to unlock this power?
[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Maybe he did his time and didnt reenlist 🤷♂️
[–]Airman074 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Fail basic training or tech school and make up some excuse.
[–]Pettyofficervolcott5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
this works too. If you fail as a nuclear mechanic, they'll ask you if you want to continue as a conventional mechanic. You're allowed to say "No" but i think it's an administrative separation, not an honorable discharge.

It's called "going sad," where you tell the chaplain/captain/chief your anus is too sore and you don't wanna navy anymore (spoken: i want to kill myself). It really is a voluntary service, you tell the higher ups you don't wanna do it anymore and you're out like within the week. i remember one dude who went sad while deployed, the boat fuckin hauled ass max speed for 3 days to meet the chopper coming to rescue him.
[–]liberules1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
of course they're going to punt you out and they should. people who aren't 1000% in should never be in high intensity situations like military service. the era of conventional land forces lining up and marching into battle is over. small teams of people who want nothing more than to be there in that moment smoke the shit out of everyone else, especially forces built up of people who were coerced/compelled, or even just lost touch with the movement. it's literal fucking war. you're either 1000% in, or gtfo.
[–]Pettyofficervolcott0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Agreed. But from my personal experience, there's a lot of people out there just barely hanging on. Ideally, they'd have their ranks full of 1000% beast-robots. But in reality (in my situation,) three months of no sun, no women and no booze while being yelled at by "superiors" really fuckin depresses you. When $100k re-enlistment bonus can't stop attrition, when fleet admirals are killing themselves and junior sailors are shootin up shipyards, you gotta drop the machismo and think of fixing the cause rather than mitigating the effects.
i'm gettin WAY off topic, just wanted to elaborate on "how to quit the Navy." i don't recommend going sad. i came closer than i thought at the time when at the end of my NJP the captain asks me, "Do you want to stay in the Navy?" The answer in my head was, "Fuck NO!" but i managed to squeak out "i want to finish my contract." Don't go sad, OWN your miserable uninformed decisions. It will pass. Do your best so your future self can look back with a victorious smile.
To bring things back on topic, i think the lady in the OP wanted to be a Dependa when she called her ex.

Hope she left him so he could go and bang tons of college chicks who dig that he was a military man.
[–]Flashmode18 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Imagine being upset at someone who making a financially sound decision.
[–]edgysecularist5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
She types this in her parents basement JFL
[–]kayfab4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Just add another dumb cunt to the lot
[–]Ocjab3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lets all go to that post and tell her "she should not date the manbaby!" Let's save this good man from this bitch!
[–]You_reALittleBitch5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
So she's saying, not rich = unattractive
Another gold digger
[–]EpicFruityPie3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is why men pay back student loans fast and woman have a life time of debt with a degree that you can't get a job or pays shit
[–]Yashugan003 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
women stand at the finish line. they're nowhere to be found at the start.. very few are smart enough to hand out water somewhere in the middle.
[–]user_miki2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
He is smart and she is stupid.Simple.
Staying with parents is an easy way to weed out gold diggers and shallow women.
[–]IntelligentSundae1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You'd all probably get pissed off about women staying with their parents, also it is harder to date someone who lives at their parents
[–]hyperasher[S] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No, especially if its a smart decision to further oneself.
[–]bk68300 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Where does she live? Is she by herself? If yes, who's paying? What's her agenda?
[–]HatezWomenzCuzIncelz0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
So, basically she's telling her to play the guy. I'm surprised she didn't tell her to wait until the last minute because he'll always be there to fall back on. If she didn't starve with you, gentlemen, then she doesn't eat.
[–]MoonshineGuy8590 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The relationship is doomed. A woman needs to feel loved. A man needs to be respected.
Once respect is gone, a woman is no more loyal to a man than a Quokka is to its young.
