You and your wife are modeling a dysfunctional relationship for your children. A marriage without intimacy is no way to live.

I’d rather be alone and not getting laid on my own terms.

Yeshua taught that the Mosaic law that says a husband/wife can divorce due to sexual immorality or by the action of putting a person away. Putting a person away meant the removal of the spouse from the home. For women, this meant that they were put into the menstruation house and being kept in a state of uncleanliness. For men, they weren't allowed into the home period and had to live somewhere else. It can taken to mean the loss of intimacy as well.

Sha'ul further added that a couple could divorce on the grounds of one being a non-believer. That ties back to Mosaic law in that Jews were required to marry fellow Jews only or those that converted to Judaism. Since she is not a believer and has put you away while most likely committing adultery you have Yahweh's blessing to divorce her. It's right there in scripture.

How old were you when you married?

Why did you marry her, and why marry her if she didn’t share your core beliefs?

Seriously, being a celibate MGTOW is a substantially different thing... than being in a "dead bedroom" marriage.

No disrespect for your "commitment" intended, just that the equation is worked out in a substantially different way for a man who is (literally) living alone, versus a man living in a home with a spouse/partner.

That said, one has to ask WHY? Why is "sex with [your] partner out of the question."

And is it JUST "sex"? Or is it ANY & ALL "affection" -- even "touching/cuddling" and non-sexual intimacy -- that is "out of the question"?? And then again the question WHY???

Simply stating it is not sufficient. I would say that you need to learn the REASON for it; because -- while it is common enough for marriages to turn "cold" -- it just doesn't "compute" that there isn't SOME "reason" for it.

If I was correct with both points... you've got some deep thinking to do, #1 above it the problem, and #2 is the solution, but only if you want to. Otherwise you have a problem with no solution. Either way, you are in control.
