It depends on what you want. A common saying we have is "you get out of it what you put into it."

The three principal tenents of Masonry are "Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth."

In summary, we watch out for each other and help each other be the best men we can be, we practice charity, and truth is synonymous with virtue. In other words, we strive to be our best selves and try to make our communities better places.

One of my favorite symbols in Masonry are the Rough and Perfect Ashlars. The rough ashlar is a rough and bumpy stone fresh from the quarry. The perfect ashlar is the same stone in its final form, made square and true by the hands of the craftsman and ready to be used in a building. The rough one represents the individual Mason, in his human imperfections and shortcomings, and the perfect one the state of being he strives for through self-improvement, discipline, study, etc.

Masons also make sure our widows are looked after. This may or may not bother you as a MGTOW.

Freemasonry is also part of a larger family of organizations. There's Blue Lodge, where you earn the three degrees and where every Mason begins his journey. Once you achieve the third degree of Master Mason, you can join a number of appendant bodies, which include the Shriners (of hospitals for children and fez hats fame), Scottish Rite, which has 32 degrees, York Rite, where you can get into Templar degrees, among others.

While Masonry is men only, there are some appendant bodies that are co-ed, particularly Order of the Eastern Star and Order if the Amaranth. Women who join these organizations must have a Mason in their family or (IIRC) be sponsored by a Master Mason.

So what do Masons do? Glad you asked.

The degree rituals themselves are designed to impart useful knowledge through a combination of symbols, lectures and histories. When done well (the officers practice diligently) they can be nothing short of inspiring. Depending on whatever lodge you join, you'll be participating in a number of worthy charitable causes, sponsoring local events (free tickets are often had!), donating baseball mitts to inner city kids, going in a ride with your Masonic motorcycle club, performing a cornerstone ceremony for the new fire station, all the way to doing research on Alzheimer's.

What are the requirements to join?

Depending on the Masonic jurisdiction, which in the US is commensurate with the state you live in, they are:

-Be a man.

-Express a belief in a higher power. How you define that is up to you, just don't be an atheist.

-Be at least 18 (21 in some jurisdictions.

-Pass a background.

-Be sponsored by two Master Masons who are members of the lodge you choose, again varies by jurisdiction.

Initiation fees and annual dues vary wildly, as I have recently discovered.

So it all depends on you. Watch the following video (2:54mins) and ask yourself if this is something you want to be a part of?

Edit: I got so caught up in telling you how awesome we are I forgot to answer some if you questions.

MGTOW is not a specific thing in Masonry any more than it is in the general society. I'm sure there are plenty of MGTOW bretheren, but that is not something specific to Masonry. This is in part because discussions of politics and religion are specifically prohibited in lodges, because these topics are divisive, and lodges are a place of unity. Masonry go to great length to be ambiguous in those areas, and I tell you, it makes going to lodge refreshing as hell, because we all leave that shit at the door.

When it comes to the whole looking after our widows thing, these are widows we're talking about, not ex-wives. Divorce, no matter who initiated it, cuts off any Masonic benefits she might have otherwise have enjoyed. I divorced my wife and none of my bretheren talk to her. I guess you could say that we support women who supported us. So there's that.

When it comes to blue-pillers and white nights, I can't say you will find that any more or less than anywhere else. I personally haven't seen that, but then again, our mission is making a difference in the world in meaningful ways (charity and such).

The most I've seen is one time a Master of a lodge stepped down and the oncoming Master thanked his wife for "letting us borrow him for a year."

I've had numerous relatives who were/are Masons. If you feel the call, go for it. Even if you are surrounded by non-MGTOW dudes, I think you can still benefit by being around men who try their best to be good men. I'm an individualist, so I despise collectives...which is why I have no interest in joining. My grandfather was the highest level Mason. I witnessed how men from all over the area where I grew up would seek him out for his guidance on things (they were fellow Masons).

Got a friend of mine who is a mason and it seems that there is a lot of blue pill in that world. But it may be one of the few male spaces that remain.

My mother was one. We didn't talk all too long about it but to sum it up :

She's blue-pilled, it's a very powerful network (as in, freemasons don't let brothers/sisters down), you meet a whole lot of important/insightful persons and the debates are high-quality.

I can't say much more about it but there you go.

I was thinking of joining, actually I still might. I hear it's pretty blue pill and boring from ex masons that post about their experiences, but they can vary I guess. I also hear that you have to pay a monthly fee of some sort, I think it was ten percent of your weekly, monthly income, maybe I'm not sure? The mason lodge in my city is right next to the court house, kek! You should visit your local mason lodge, you can find them on the internet and most of them have some pretty nice architecture, at least the ones in the big cities.
