Saw Time Freak, a movie about a simp whose GF breaks up with him but since he’s a physics genius he invents a time machine to go back and try to undo all his mistakes in order to keep her.

He succeeds, ends up marrying her and then uses the time machine to make sure they never fight and that she’s always happy.

Of course she ends up miserable because being happy is not what they want. They want fights and drama.

She eventually finds out about the time machine, and asks how much he has used it.

He reveals that in order to keep her happy for two full years, he has had to go back and redo mistakes for a total of sixty or seventy years.

Seven decades of effort to keep a woman happy for two years. And in the end she’s still miserable. Geez!
