Women attempt more suicides.... that is partly true. Women do statistically attempt more but many of them are in air quotes. Women pick less lethal methods because they do it for attention, not because they want to kill themselves.

How many of you have had a crazy girlfriend say something along this line: if you leave me I’ll kill myself.?

I work at a psych hospital and I see this crap all the time. Women who text their SO that they are going to kill themselves after an argument and “overdose” on 4 tabs of Motrin. I take that for a headache. It’s not lethal and they know it.

Women will use suicide as a way to get attention and manipulate. While men really mean it.

I dont condone or support the idea of suicide in any way, but from what I've seen, women use methods they can stop if they get cold feet halfway through. Then use it for attention after the fact. Men are logical and commit to these decisions when there is no other option
