Buy low. Sell high. The rest is conjecture, opinion, hype, and due diligence. Usually can't go wrong with blue chip stocks. I'd say start there. Read about options, learn about trend lines, learn to read a candlestick chart, read what other traders and analysts are saying, look for patterns and buy the dip!

study up on austrian economics, and realize that every market is manipulated and right now its a suckers game trying to ride a bubble up and then bail out before it bursts. right now i like, gold/silver, bitcoins, stack some cash, , and build a financial base, and then you can get in the stocks but understand the financial contexts, and risks my friend.

Get economics and business dual degree. Apply to work at a wallstreet firm. If you can't even get the dual degree, then you don't have what it takes to do the leg work to make it as a trader.

Study trading psychology and understand that it will take a long time (if ever) to take control of your emotions when trading. You can have the best strategy in the world but if you can’t take the emotion out of it, it’s game over.

Also, study risk management. Risk management is essential but most people focus almost solely on getting the best entry points, which indicators they should use, etc. to their detriment.

Investing in mutual / index funds for a long term and not looking back is safer than getting all kinds of random stocks.
