The problem is that the current divorce laws are driving us to (relatively) extreme degrees of socio-economic associative pairings in the relationship market. There are very strong second and third order negative repercussions for access to social capital and economic opportunities for kin.

In other words, the divorce laws are negatively impacting social mobility and economic inequality because more and more men and women are shying away from dating outside their socio-economic group. For men, this is in large part due to divorce laws.
