That’s the fucked up part about women and societal expectations. Buying dinner isn’t really about buying sex, it’s about showing that you’re investing and that their time is valuable to you. If they weren’t interested or not looking for a relationship, they shouldn’t accept the date. Instead they look at it as a free meal and a wallet biopsy.

The one thing that I’ve always noticed about PUAs is that they have money. Especially these guys that travel abroad and bang women in other countries which most of them do eventually. They have these vague job titles like “entrepreneur” or “businessman”, just telling a woman you’re one of these gets her moist. I’ve found one of the biggest contributors to personal confidence is financial security. I’ve rarely met a poor guy who is truly confident. Cocky, yes. Truly confident, no.
Successful men are like average-looking women, they don’t have to do much to get laid. Blue-collar guys simply take what they can get.
Pick-up artistry has always preyed on successful guys who used to be insecure or introverted, ie computer geeks, or just average guys who picked up a trade and stuck with it.

I absolutely refuse to pay when I go out with women. Most get super offended by it, some say they understand (which I highly doubt they truly do). I make good money and can easily afford to pay for dates, but it's the principal of it. Why the hell is it solely my responsibility to pay for dates and to take on the responsibilities of what it takes to maintain a healthy relationship? Nope. 50/50 or I'm out. I make that very clear from the get go and continue to remind throughout.
I did this with my ex wife. She was cool with it at first, but slowly began to expect me to do all the major heavy lifting in the relationship. Once she quit her job, refused to get another and began to drink too much and get verbally and physically abusive, I kicked her ass to the curb. She begged and begged for me to take her back. I did not. Thank God we we were only married for a little over a year and didn't have kids together. I divorced her, learned and never looked back. She continues to try and contact me to this very day. I ignore her.
Again, gentlemen, 50/50 or drop kick her ass to the curb. Read Dr. Warren Farrell's books(especially, the Myth of Male Power). I subscribe to his line of thinking. The man is a genius and is spot on.

Never heard of someone needing to be pampered daily to keep themselves in the relationship, the idea of someone being so arrogant is absurd, but I suppose I can’t rule it out.
Women’s rights and responsibilities in the dating world seem a weird comparison, given that there’s not a single human right implying anything about dating whatsoever. It’s more old gender stereotypes, that seldom have to do with rights. I just think it’s a weird speech the idea that women want equal rights but complain when someone wants to split the bill, those scenarios really don’t fall in similar categories, but alas, I suppose there is an argument to be made in there somewhere. I went out with a guy once who INSISTED on paying. I usually pay because I DON'T like it when it comes with the expectation of sex, which it often does. He was really aggressive about it and at the end we split the bill. Needless to say there wasn't a second date.
I do agree that there are still quite a few women who expect men to pay. But there are also a lot of men who insist on paying to "be a perfect gentlemen" or whatever. They feel robbed of their masculinity if the woman pays. Not in all cases, obviously, but it happens.
