Men are gorgeous creatures. I'm straight, but fascinated with biology. Our traits are pretty striking. Look at the 'ideal' female, she has narrow shoulders, wide hips, long legs, big breasts, and soft facial features. Weak chin, weak cheeks, weak brow, small nose, big eyes. She resembles a prey animal. Her traits not directly used for mating are to advertise how appealing of a partner she is.
Look at the 'ideal' male on the other hand. Tall, wide shoulders, apelike muscle density, better reflexes, big hands, strong features. A chiseled jaw, strong cheeks, and a large brow are tailor made armor against punches. Men resemble pack predators. All unique features are used to catch prey or fight other humans.
I could go on and talk about how amazing it is that we have sleek hairless bodies (save from above, where the sun casts) and lightly webbed fingers and toes, or the fact that we have a hypothermia-averting dive reflex.

The reality is that women aren't actually attractive. First of all, men are attracted to women because of their own bio-chemistry giving them a high sex drive. But it goes further than this. Because nature needed a mechanism to filter bad genes in order for us to evolve faster. Human beings aren't monogamous naturally but polygamous based on an alpha system, same goes for hominids before us. Sexual selection does that, select genes, c'mon now. I'm not talking about evolution anyway. I'm talking about natural selection and sexual selection which are two different concepts. Some species have sexual selection and others don't. Sexual selection is like an added natural selection so the species have extra pressure and males compete more, and so evolution grows exponentially. This is one of the reasons, apart from better nutrition, as for why male height has increased so much in the last decades/siecles.

Bad genes are such because they lessen an organism's fitness (reproduction/survivability). These do get filtered out due to natural selection, those with better genes pass those on more often than bad genes.

When I was a boy, females treated me like shit. My mother, my sister, girls at school, girls in the local neighbourhood. I was an ugly and awkward kid who was slapped, spat at, even beaten up by girls for absolutely no reason other than walking past them, or being in the same room as them.
I always imagined that there is a difference between a girl and a woman, and once I grow up women will treat me differently.

I have a remarkably quiet comfortable life now. I can sit on the sofa looking out the window just enjoying looking at the trees and birds for an hour or 2 on a saturday morning with a nice cup of coffee... not realy thinking anything, just enjoying the moment of peace and quiet.

A year ago I was actually suicidal, then I discovered this subreddit and became a lurker for a long time until I started posting and joining in. From day one of discovering this place I felt better, knowing that i'm not going mad, it's not just me, but most men get treated the same way.
I have done a lot of self reflection since discovering MGTOW. Reflection on my actions, how I was treated by females, was it my fault?
Most of the time the shit females did to me was unprovoked, some of it simply cruel. But I found the one common denominator in stopping them shitting on me was by walking away and "going my own way" which i'd been doing for a few years without realising there was already a name for it.
I think I speak for many when I say i'm not the only one brought from the brink of suicide by discovering MGTOW and finding comradarie, community, understanding... even just an outlet to rant without my complaints been shit on and told to "man up".

It's something I talk about from time to time. The idea of decoupling your cravings from female validation.
It's not just that we want to have sex with women post-puberty due to our hormonal cravings. We're also trained by society to be respectful and giving to their wants and needs.

I've met plenty as well, and it's always the same. They hate women with a passion, and they make it their lives work to make others do it too. But they don't just outright say it. They post these things about self help and self empowerment that are true, and they are good ideas. There absolutely are differences in the way men and women think, but not to the extent they'd have you believe.
