For realz! If I had a wife that got raped, it would damage me. I would always be thinking that I couldn't protect her when she needed me. That I failed her as a husband, as a man. I can't imagine the mental anguish I would go through after an ordeal like that, it would permanently scar me, thinking I'm less of a man for not being there. I would always be thinking whenever she is out there, if today is the day that she might get raped again. That type of anxiety would kill me! Then seeing as how low my value as a man would be in my mind, i would start thinking if i might get raped? I would be scared to leave the house and be scared for my wife if she left the house. OMG! We are totes the primary victims of rape. FUCK this rape culture we live in for realz. We get raped in the mind you guys, the worst type of rape there is! It's like second hand smoke.
