I'd like to hear what others have to say as well. Please just don't cohabitate and look at for crazies because just because you can't have kids, it doesn't mean you're rape accusation proof.

A properly done vasectomy will make you sterile in the case of unplanned pregnancy. However you can still have planned children using either reversal or sperm aspiration, which you should definitely research if you're considering doing it and associated costs and risks.

Luckily, there are costs to it, so rather than a drunken weekend, you definitely want to be motivated and spend cash to have kids.

It will put 100% control into your hands and not the woman, who will almost always choose the opposite of what you want. Hence the idea of "planned pregnancy", that you personally control.

But that's up to you. If you're comfortable with the IVF or reversal process and costs, then go that route to protect yourself, if you think you might want to have kids the old fashioned way, and wish to risk being sperm jacked or having an unexpected problem with some th0t you end up hating but paying for decades, go the other route.

So make the cost vs. benefit analysis, and do the math to your situation, and like others in the thread have said, you'll still need protection against diseases.

If you do decide to do it, never tell anyone. It's your secret and no one should no. Family, friends, women, keep them in the dark.

I can't recommend it to you, buddy. You're too young. It's good you know what you want, but there's a chance down the road you might regret it. Your 30 yrs old you might be a very different man than today and hate yourself for such a rash decision. A couple years of hedonism isn't worth a life altering decision. Sleeping with sluts gets old quick, even if they suck a mean dick. I think you should wait on it.

I had a vasectomy at 21. When mine was done, my tubes were also cauterized. I have not had one single scare in 27 years since my vasectomy was done. So when you have it done tell them you want you want your tubes cauterized.

Dude. MGTOW is great and all but your perspective on life can and will dramatically change in a relatively short period of time even if it seems like there is no way that could happen right now. Like not fucking up by accidentally making a kid, I recommend avoiding any and all permanent life changing decisions at this point in your life. Condoms are very effective if you know how to use them properly and follow through with it. Besides you risk STDs anyway and a vasectomy won't protect you from that. Give it a few years at least is my advice.

First and foremost, I congratulate you on making the decision to not bring more children into an already over populated world.

Secondly, I can't stress strongly enough the fact that STD's are rampant in our society and some of them are permanent. You need to wear a condom every time.

Third, don't think that having a vasectomy will get you out of child support. Go ahead and google up the various cases of men being forced to pay child support for a kid that has been proven via dna testing to not be theirs.

And finally, good luck with finding a physician to perform the procedure on you at 19.

I would recommend it simply because by no means is a vasectomy castration. Nor does it make children impossible down the line. But it does protect you from being blackmailed for abortion money or child support. Children are used as weapons an experience that is extremely harmful to them. A vasectomy is affirmative action to ensure hold control of your reproduction. I would avoid putting yourself or a potential child at risk, this issue is simply bigger than yourself.

While it is possible to reverse a vasectomy down the line, that surgery is expensive and invasive and only about 50% effective. Sperm harvesting and the accompanied IVF is also incredibly expensive.

So if you get a vasectomy, you should consider it to be a permanent procedure.

And at age 19, I wouldn’t do things that are permanent. You need a condom anyways to prevent STDs so just so that.

A condom will not protect you from diseases that are spread orally or by damage to your skin.

If you are committed to this I would recommend the following.

Store some of your genetic material. This will allow the decision of having children fully in your hands again It will be costly, but it is far less than 18yrs child support.

Tell a urologist that you (lie) tested yourself for genetic disorders, and do not wish to subject yourself to having a malformed or retarded child.

Be sure to research what disorder you plan to fall back on.

OR

Find a divorced raped urologist, and tell him of all the CS stories, and how there is even the possibility of paying for a child that’s not even yours! They will likely have you sign consent forms, snip you, and send you on your way.

Seriously, save your material. Crossing a bridge like a vasectomy is one that is not easily uncrossed.

Also, once it’s done, and you’ve confirmed it took...NEVER trust a b-tch saying she is pregnant, and the vasectomy some how magically reversed.

Insist on paternity test! And do not sign anything she sends you! Respond to anything with the test results from your urologist of “negative for sperm”

I did mine at age 22. No more pregnancy scares or worries about being trapped. PLEASE still wear a condom though can't trust these hoes.

Personally I wouldn't do it.

First of all, it's probably going to be difficult to find a doctor that will perform the procedure considering your age.

Secondly, it might make you more reckless. When you're about to have sex, not having a condom with you might make you not want to have sex. Yet, when you have had a vasectomy, you might have sex anyway because you think to yourself you can't get the girl pregnant. This makes you vulnerable to STDs.

It say, don't get the vasectomy, but always use a condom and be careful. But that's just my 2 cents.
