Funny, exactly the same thing happened when the BBC did a pay review just recently after huge feminist journalist uproar about perceived lower pay. People shut up about it real quick when the data came back that women actually had it better off than the men.

Uber also had a similar finding after it found men were paid 7% more but it was entirely because they performed better, pay was of course set by a sex blind algorithm.

I love how that dumb mod used job levelling as a red herring to derail the argument at hand.

For anyone that doesn't know what job levelling is. Its essentially finding your base point or worth at the start of a career at a new company. A lot of big companies do this. Think Goldilocks and the three bears. Essentially seeing your value to the company and changing up your salary or benefits based on that. It would make sense to exclude these values from any wage gap analysis because most of that data is provisional or probationary which can quite often lead to very inaccurate data.

Either way it's been said a million times already. It makes no sense from an economical view. If men were getting paid more for the same work any sane company would hire women instead and make percentage savings in the billions. But clearly that isn't the case. Women enjoy playing the victim and love entitlement.

I would love to see some hard stats on all the pay rises for females in the last 10 years because of the wage gap campaigns.
