What communities are you talking about? In the US at least, most places are reasonably safe. The last fight I had was 22 years ago. People aren't in the streets fist/knife fighting over women constantly.

It sounds like you're referring to gang culture, which, thankfully, I remain largely ignorant of. Let the gangs kill each other, who cares?

I would agree that men overall have gotten "softer." This is a result of having it easy, easier than humans have had it for 99.99% of our history as a species. We have supermarkets and drive-thrus. Cars, power tools, home security systems, hospitals and 911.

Men now have to make a sincere effort to connect with our survivalist, self-sufficient instincts. Most of us don't. And while I personally have made the effort to develop some of these skills like archery, carpentry, crafting, fire-building etc, I certainly don't long for the days where I'd have to fight large predators or other humans for my survival.

Society has been geared toward promoting women for the last few decades. Social media grew to raise the pedestals even higher than before. Granted those pedestals are too tall and have pushed their contents up against the ceiling and soon will knock themselves over. But the pedestals will be rebuilt. Our only real chance for escaping this fate is the artificial womb. Until women no longer control reproduction we have very little hope.

Well it depends. This is reallife and not some second class fight film.

I usually avoid fights, but if someone wants it so bad i will straight tell him im not scared to take his life if needed. Most people stop at this point.

I avoid fights as hard as possible. Would even run away at first. But yeah...

When it comes to survival its about causing most damage while taking less.

I dont need a broken nose and stuff like that. Take a real fight until someone dies to a knife or gun or better get the fuck of at the first warning. I wont play around.

Never personally understood why guns were considered manly or whatever (even though I enjoy games and movies with them) weapons were literally created to give you an advantage or to overcome someone stronger than you. Firsr it was swords then later guns that granny could even use (I realize it requires skill and training to use well). Obviously when it comes to defending your country and fighting wars you fight fire with fire.. there's a reason for soldiers ton use them. When it comes to every day disagreements thoigh I agree. . Although as a reasonable adult theres no reason even to get in fist fights generally. Reality is even unarmed someone could have a life altering injury or death and no worth it over some stupid argument (most of time) or people drinking too much

Emotion and absolute behavior are encouraged now. There is no honor in fighting, losing, and going your way realizing you were defeated and things can resume as normally as they can. We have so much free time on our hands and do not work on ourselves.

School shootings are an example of this. Kids getting revenged on how they feel they were wronged by taking out on others even if the victims weren't involved.

What's the problem about fighting with improvised weapons? I would do the same. If someone attacked me I wouldn't care about using my fists. Your violence always has to be greater than the violence of your opponent (tip from a Navy Seal). Fuck that fist fight bullshit and get yourself an improvised weapon. I don't have to prove anything to anyone I can go without additional injuries.
