I've been thinking about this question for a long time. I've seen many topics here with some woman doing something and people calling "AWALT" but really are AWALT? Can someone possibly predict behavior of almost 4 billion people just based on gender? Also, my observations proved me many times that there's no "normal" when it comes to human-beings.

Looking around, my mom is a typical example of NAWALT, a unicorn. She's an awesome woman and been there for my father in the good and the bad and they have a really happy marriage. Also, I see other happy marriages around me. I see both the woman and the man constantly improving each other for the better and genuinely enjoy being together.

So really are AWALT? The answer is no but also yes. Saying "AWALT" is like saying "birds fly". Sure, there are birds that don't fly but birds that fly and birds that don't fly ratio is so absurd, "birds fly" statement became a fact.

Coming back to question, saying and assuming "AWALT" is a way of someone's protecting themselves. No one can possibly predict almost 4 billion people's behavior with 100% accuracy based on their gender but AWALT to NAWALT ratio is so absurd, "AWALT" statement became a fact.

Sure, that woman you met the other day might be a genuine NAWALT but giving it a chance is too risky compared to the reward. It can literally cost you your most valuable asset, your time and on top of that, half of your shit.

Also, unlike birds, humans can act. A bird won't act like it can't fly even though it can fly. A woman can easily act like NAWALT until she makes you put a ring on her finger. On top of that, a NAWALT can easily turn into a AWALT in matter of days. Information is there, media support is there, government support is there, you might marry a NAWALT but you also can't possibly predict that she won't turn into a AWALT later.
