There are a few different schools of thought. The one I subscribe to is the wall is when a woman can no longer easily get sex/commitment from the men she desires, and can no longer easily get free shit/favors from betas and simps.

It usually hits anywhere between 25-35. Usually 30. Its when her looks begin to fade, and her age begins to noticeably show. She is no longer in her peak fertility window, and her window will be closing soon, so nature's way of signalling this to men is by rapidly decreasing the females attractiveness.

I heard a few months ago a MGTOW YouTuber to talk about 2 type of wall. The women's wall and men's.

It's related to sexual market value. Women most of the time have a high value because of her young pussy, eggs, skin (signs of fertility)... All they have to do is to have a pussy to achieve a high value, but when they reach 30~35yo their sexual value drops bcoz they show signs of age on their face, etc and there are new girls starting to get value...

Men's wall is a bit different, we were born already with it, of course some guys have more value since they were born with physical traits that get women's attention (chads), now to a regular broke guy? It is generally accepted that the "wall" for most women is in their late 20s to mid 30s. Upon hitting the "wall", dependent on those things that influence beauty and how careful the woman was with herself she is downgraded in deference to younger, prettier girls; or is rendered completely irrelevant to men sexually or relationally (excluding fetishists, or indiscriminate desperate men).

Since beauty, sex, and child bearing are all that women can provide a man, that he cannot get easily elsewhere the wall is also an embittering, and terrifying specter in an aging woman's life.

If youth + health + beauty = good genes + pleasurable sex + fertility/healthy offspring then the inverse of that (a wall hitter) is a failure in the eyes of society, and more importantly her own. Hitting the wall single means that she was subpar in one or several aspect of beauty or social relevance. Uncoincidentally, this is also around the time that they discover feminism, or double down in the idea. Conversely, there is a faction of women who enter a desperation mode of being where they will try to latch on to any average man who can impregnate them, and support them, "baby rabies" is one term in the common vernacular for this condition.
