I'm genuinely curious. Personally, I've been using Opera on my desktop for last couple of years after switching from Firefox. It has nice minimalist UI & sidebar, lightweight, secure (smaller user base helps), allows extensions through chrome store and has optional in-built ad blocker, tracker & VPN (though I use third-party alts for these) and other customizable features.
