In reality the leaders started this because they know young men care greatly about what young women think of them. It's a fucking manipulation tactic to get young men to conform. I had an opportunity to rationally weigh the risk/reward of fighting in a war in 2001-2003 with far more information than those poor men in WW1. I decided that "winning hearts and minds" and bringing democracy to Muslim countries was impossible, and thus any risk on my behalf would have been to no purpose. I didn't join the US armed forces and I've never regretted that decision because my assessment was accurate. If there had been a draft I would have resisted, not because I am a coward, but because I am intelligent.

Feminists, after gaining the right to vote, pushed politicians to make alcohol illegal since their husbands would go to a bar to have some drinks after working before they went home. Feminists just got the right to vote and politicians were worried that they wouldn’t get their vote if they didn’t make alcohol illegal.

Unintended consequences: the MOB.

Now BECAUSE of Prohibition, the Mob became so powerful by making tons of money for selling what people wanted and so in turn because of feminists the Mob became arguably the most powerful and rich underground organization.
