I see so many questions on Reddit like "How do you deal with loneliness? I moved to a new place and I'm feeling so lonely right now." Other people give solutions like "Loneliness is bad. You need to get out there and stop spending time alone." which just avoids the problem. I'm trying to understand why people can't just accept solitude and enjoy living alone without requiring validation from other people. Monk mode is the best time to fix your life and become a better person but society discourages men from doing monk mode.

Everyone likes to project and tell me my life is really lonely because I don't have a partner. I know some guys who break up with their girlfriend and they start looking for another girlfriend without even thinking. They can't accept being single. They just have to fill in the void with another person.

Is solitude really painful for most people?
