Ya man it’s a predicament. One one hand, we are social creatures and we have a desire to fit in. Also, we do have an urge to procreate and as it is now marriage is the most viable option for that.

But on the other hand, is having the state involved in this agreement, which you have absolutely no power and become a literal slave. Even if you escape divorce rape, you still won’t live a good life as the woman will give you constant shit test and make you work super long hours all the while she is living it up on your dime.

there’s a difference between it “feels like” and “is the right thing” to do. you shouldn’t put yourself in an awkward position (marriage in this scenario) just to make others think you’re normal. that’s how you break yourself inside and/or mentally. just be yourself, don’t give a crap what others think of you i understand that can be difficult for some though, go and at least try to achieve your dreams, have fun doing your hobbies, get shitface wasted w/ the boys on your day off.

point being if you think you should do it, it all comes down to you mate. but i’d advise against marriage altogether especially in this day and age.

I've been married 20 years. Marriage under the state is a bad deal for men. It also incentivizes women to divorce for the cash and prizes they can extract from the families they destroy. My mother, a predatory woman, did just that, and is now on her fifth marriage. She has sucked the life and wealth out of each man in turn, like a vampire. I have learned, only in the past few years, that she is far from an aberration - she is normal. This chills my blood and explains a lot.

That said, I still believe a good marriage is possible, even today. I do not define marriage as a state contract but as a religious vow. A good marriage requires the man to be the head of household, and to be obeyed and respected in everything, among other things.

Therefore, unless you are involved in some kind of organization (religious or otherwise) that actively restrains hypergamy, and where the sisterhood encourages women to stick to and obey their husbands, marriage (in any sense) is simply a gamble and not worth the risk.

Because marriage sounds like the best idea on paper but in practice it's awful. Everyone knows people need strong connections and relationships to others as well as a mutual safety net in times of trouble. Men are logical so our brains default to relationships because logically is SHOULD be the smart move. The issue is that women don't have to reciprocate and many (including myself) don't believe they can love men anyways.

It’s called social programming. It’s also a biological imperative. While getting married isn’t programmed into us, mating IS. We associate marriage with long term mating. So it only makes sense to think marriage is the right way.

However the moment you think deeper you realize it’s a scam. Also, the moment you not only stop caring what others think, but even laugh at them for the attempt, it no longer has any meaning.

People don’t waste their time, trying to convince someone who’s single and enjoying themselves, especially if you carved out your success. There’s nothing left for them to coerce you. It's the best thing to do if you want to start a family and raise children properly. Statistics show that it's the best solution given you can find a suitable mate.

Problem is... women in 2020 is a lost cause. Marriage for the sake of it is not good. Done right is good. But in 2020 it's more of a liability and headache than it's worth.

It probably depends on where you live and the prevailing belief perceptions about marriage, sex, success, etc. The social norms and what beliefs they communicate can have a strong influence on an individual's internal view. I think the only real reason for marriage is kids and then once that done, if you can still stand eachother and there hasn't been a divorce rape along the way, you stick it out to enjoy the grandkids...but for men, with the way feminism has re-engineered the female attitudes about independence and anti traditional anything (if it's not benefiting women that is), marriage is a big risk, even if it's lasted for many years...just ask Will Simpth.

as a person i've found myself to have broken several times in my life.

the last was maybe a few years ago, where i had lost all sense of pain, i was in a state where i had a constant emotional pain, so strong that i was unable to feel / differentiate physical pain.

sometimes life / the world hits you so hard, you just break.

every time it happens, i have to relearn and rediscover myself, rebuild my ego, rebuild who i am. my last and worst breaking and healing, i spent a year, every day sitting on the patio of my apartment, drinking coffee, eating fruit, playing my guitar... and watching the people around me passing by. analyzing them, and re-learning my world.

what i saw, was that the women in my apartment were bringing home men from the near by bars, every friday, every saturday, and every sunday night. what i saw, was these women were fucking and screwing COMPLETE UTTER LOOSERS!

what you need to understand for yourself, is that women are BROKEN. COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY BROKEN. we have been socially conditioned to believe that women do the choosing in the process, that women are the gate keepers of reproduction, that women "drive" natural selection.

but when women are choosing to fuck random losers, or even just so many random men, when clearly they can not see who a good man is, their judgement is false, is wrong.

when you understand, that women just fuck around, with poor judgement, with no intentions of being that 'gate keeper', with no intentions of 'judging a mans worth', and ultimately 99% of the time just ends up marrying the first sucker that will commit to her after she realizes that she's run out of time.

when you truly see the picture for what it really is, what it has become, you will feel no shame about it, because women's "judgement" of so which we have been conditioned to worship, does not exist any more.

you need to judge your own self worth, and if you think yourself not to be worthy in your own eyes, focus on developing and improving yourself into the person that you want to be.

when women are whores, there is no power, there is no validation, there is no judgement. never listen to whores as they neglect their biological roles and functions for manipulation and power. when power is abused, over time it is lost.
