My whole life has been a series of pretty shit relationships. I've been cheated on more then once, or dated lazy gold digging women who had no desire to actually be with me for who I was. But the last relationship I had, three years long, was the one that finally woke me up and made me realize MGTOW is the way.

I got into the relationship with a beautiful woman, my own age, who was a divorced single mother. I know, red flags everywhere. But at the time, I was naive, and hadn't had the chance to learn from MGTOW. I was in grad school at the time, and things looked good. EVerything was GREAT at first. She knew how to wear the mask well. She came across as caring, interested, and affectionate. And the sex was great.

As time went on, more and more warning signs started to appear. For one, she would get down right nasty when she didn't get her way. She had a talent for saying the most hurtful, cutting things to upset me. She even occasionally got violent (and I mean VIOLENT, though I wont go into further detail here). I tried to take it stride. I'd justify it to myself that 90% of the time things were great, so I could put up with the 10% of the times things were shitty. But it just got progressively worse. She continued to treat me worse with each passing week.

She was also incredibly shady. Whenever she would get texts, she would tilt her phone screen away from me. Guys would be hitting her up on facebook all the time. Whenever I brought it up, she would try to make me feel like I was crazy.

By this time, I had graduated, and gotten a decent job. I kept hoping that as my financial situation improved, our relationship would improve as well. But the more I did for her, the more distant she seemed to grow. What I failed to realize, was that I had become the epitome of a beta bux loser.

After a while, I finally figured out what was going on. She had started seeing another guy. She carried on the charade/double life for MONTHS. Deep down, I think I had known what was going on. But being a beta bux loser, I lived in a state of denial. There is one thing I should mention. As much of a loser as I was, the one thing I refused to abide was cheating. Once I called her out, I told her it was over.

A week later, she called me crying, telling me she wanted to work it out. She sobbed that she didn't think I would leave her for cheating. She thought I would forgive her. And besides, she cried, I was always working, and didn't spend as much time with her. And the guy, lets call him Chad, made her feel 'special.' Still angry with her, I called her an idiot, laughed at her, and hung up the phone. A week later, she called again, telling me she had just found out she was pregnant, and thought the kid was mine. I knew it was bullshit, and told her I would buy a test, and I wanted her to prove it to me. She got quiet, and said she didn't need to prove anything to me, then hung up.

I still hear from her periodically (I should block her number, I know, but I really, truly loved her, and have been unable to bring myself to do it, yet). She tried to keep her fling with Chad going. It didn't work out. Now, she is in a shit situation, living with her mom and dad. Meanwhile, things have never been better for me. My career is going great. I have more money. More time. I'm happier overall.

As shitty as my situation turned out, I was one of the lucky ones. I avoided divorce rape. My reputation is still intact. And I've learned my lesson. I have swallowed the red pill, and have decided to go MGTOW, and I am far happier for it.

For those who have stuck around through my long typical story, thanks for reading. You guys are awesome.
