I go to work everyday to guys in their early 50s constantly complaining how their wives control their lives. They literally make jokes about going home to get beat by their wives at home. They make jokes like this and the whole room starts laughing.

One of these guys was telling me how his wife is going out of town to 'hang out with her friends' while he's at home. And if he gets home late he gets to sleep on the couch. If he wants to buy something expensive he has to ask his wife.
