Not to go into too many details, but we've just gotten assigned to a team of engineers that will consist of 50% males and 50% females; 8 guys, 8 girls. What this means... Is we will have to work closely with women for a few major projects (1.5-2 years).

I don't mean to be dramatic. Maybe they will want nothing to do with me outside of work?

I'm not really sure how to handle this. Please, if you have any experience on having to constantly work with women at work, how did you handle this over a long period of time?

Honestly I think it's gonna be bad news as I'm gonna be walking over eggshells. The first thing I'd do is just not talk to them outside of work; there is no way for me to avoid talking to them for long periods of time due to the nature of the work itself. Gonna try super hard to direct any personal conversation to mundane non-personal work related stuff; ghost in plain sight.

Of course, I had just finished reading one or 2 posts and videos about avoiding women in the workplace, then I read the email. In a few months, it begins...
