For all their wealth they don't understand the affects of the wealth barrier. Specifically that the wealth barrier is both a wall and a blindfold for those beyond the wall. All rich people get a filtered view of the real world that gives them these insane, destructive ideas. Everyone they rub elbows with either comes from privilege or displays the sort of discipline and behavior required to be of privilege. Sure, they might do a charity event where they spend a day with the poor but that's a poor substitute for a life among the poor.

The poor side of the wealth barrier where people don't show the discipline to be rich or don't care is where all the consequences arrive. Rich people don't know it.

On a mildly-related note, I was joking with a colleague a couple days ago about how hurricane Irma was being downgraded from transgender to lesbian. We even joke about the whole "grabbing by the pussy" thing and how we're going to "make hurricanes great again". I love my coworkers, but I highly doubt I'd ever be able to get away with the same antics with a female present. Fuck, I'd be a walking HR file.

The best thing about my coworkers is that we can talk politics and religion, even in the workplace, even straight-up disagree with things of that nature and STILL be polite, professional, and see things from another perspective. I love it.

The "issues" this feminized society comes up with are so absolutely vapid and pointless that it just makes me sad.
