Largest protests in France since 1968, the government is vastly underestimating the scale of the anger, knowingly or not.

This photo was taken in a small provincial town of ~1300 inhabitants in one of the most remote part of France. There are at least 500 people here, to give you an idea of the actual scale of the protests.

Paris' core districts (arrondissements 1 to 7) were literally submerged by protesters last weekend, this is only one small fraction of the protests in one small area of the city.

It's not as sudden as 1968 but it keeps growing with more and more protesters joining everyday.

Sure, some people seem to have 'a good life', but times are changing. People are waking up and realizing that working 40 hours a week only to eat some meals, get some sleep and traveling to work isn't much of a life.

Having said that, this is another 'ordo ab chao' scenario. Free UBI for everyone is the 'solution', in exchange for your freedom and soul.

Despite the jokes we all make about France being all passive and a bunch of fruits, historically, they do not fuck around. Read about how they completely repelled the Ottomans and their own bloody revolutions. This tear gas riot is just a warm up. Expect banker's heads to be rolling around Paris at some point.

Entertaining as all hell although I prefer watching the savages in Israel and Gaza. Those two groups at least kill each other. And in entertaining ways I might add! :)
