Yes. "Just do it for yourself" sounds good and all, but lets be real here. 99% of people (the younger audience, not the old people) in the gym are doing it for the opposite sex. You can do something to be more attractive without idolizing them or putting your entire self worth on that. If there was no such thing as sex, emotions, hormones, I would not be working out. I would be playing a lot more video games. I would not be studying my ass off to get a good job. I am a very minimalistic person. I do not need much to be happy. But hormones and emotions drive the world. I have had feelings for 2 girls in my life, and neither of them wanted me. This motivated the shit out of me to be so much better than any other guy to make those girls regret it. Hormones and emotions cannot be suppressed. I didnt choose to catch feelings. But those feelings literally drive me. It might sound pathetic, it might sound stupid, but I still DO NOT put my self worth on women. Females motivate me and its not even something I can control. Hormones and emotions drive the world. Men compete for the best (hottest) women. Hypergamy exists to keep the world spinning. MGTOW eliminates this drive which is why RP and myself dont like it. To just swear off women will kill your drive. Yeah you CAN still self improve, but biology is what motivates you to do so.

Just one caveat; "To just swear off women will kill your drive" do you mean in the sense of avoiding anything feminine or just strictly not being romantic with women? Since we are all hard-wired to compete for women, you can 'tame' yourself if you're aware of human nature and that's part of mgtow, (at least how I define it) striving towards self-actualization while having hyper awareness of your human nature, how society is structured, and planning your life accordingly.

In my case, I'm definitely motivated to get girls on an emotional level, which is a bit annoying because logically I don't want to be with a woman. That's why I compare it to hunger; 'I don't want to eat, but I have to get hunger out of the way.' Understanding this about myself enables me to come to the best conclusion without succumbing to any social pressures or stigma (since we are talking about pure practicality here.)

As for the sex doll, you'll have to use your imagination a bit, I got this body and this head. I'd argue the sex is way better than with a real woman since you don't have to play bullshit games with her or tickle her hypergamy just right to get her into the mood, so it's a good way for me to just fuck it once a night and get it out of the way. But you also have to carry the doll yourself, carry it and do all the work yourself every time, so I guess the experience of it being better or worse is subjective.

And yes, your brain seriously can't tell the difference between a real woman and a piece of silicone that's shaped like a woman, it feels like the real thing.

I meant being romantic with women. Men work their asses off for women whether they are willing to admit it or not. If you decide you are never going to give a shit about women. Internal motivation to just "do it for yourself" will likely not be sufficient to be nearly as motivated as you would be if female motivation was there as well.

Best way to make a decision imo is to do a cost-benefit analysis. 2k is nothing compared to all the money you'll eventually haphazardly spend on girls to keep them loyal and interested. 2k may seem a lot because you're paying that all at once, and you just have to make the payment once and you're done. So a doll beats women in terms of cost. If you believe the doll is not worth the price, it means you're willing to eventually spend more on real girls.

Before I discovered the red pill and mgtow, all the experiences I had with girls was they either showed interest in me because they wanted to use me to cheat on their boyfriends (one of them was 'forced' to let her cheat and buy her stuff, he killed himself once he realized she was cool with him leaving her.), or my group made up this scheme where girls were easily gamed are were falling for us (that made me lose respect for women.. since they're actually all so easy), and the last relationship I had I had to break it off because the girl was way too demanding. ONE YEAR LATER she accused me of rape, it was up to me to prove that she consented because "she was sacred what I'd do if she said no".

A cop told me that they knew the accusation was bullshit, but legally they weren't allowed to turn down her emotions because the state needs to throw male rapists in jail for some statistics of whatever. The only reason I'm not in prison is because the girl eventually admitted she was lying and didn't even get a slap on the wrist.

I was already on the fence of dropping women and getting a doll but after going through the legal system and seeing how powerless you are as a man, I tapped out cold turkey. Dude, I'm only 22 and I'm telling you women are just not worth it. It used to be that the man would go out into the world and deal with challenges and then come home to a loving girl to recharge his batteries, today, the woman is just another challenge. I believe the only reason guys still go after girls is because of a status thing, and their hormones push them for it, that's all you can get from a doll. The only reason not to get one is if you're worried about what people think about it, and the stigma will go away in the upcoming years as dolls get more advanced and cheaper.

I have a ton of examples about how psychotic women are and how blue-pilled men can get. That one guy killed himself when he realized his 'soul-mate' was using him and didn't care about him at all. I felt like I was part of the reason that pushed him to the breaking point, but at the time he said he was fine with me having her with his girl (probably because she manipulated him to do it, looking back on it I realized he wasn't fine with it.)

I've seen at least 3 friends get their lives infested with stress, drama, damage control that they never dealt with before in their lives.. all of that showed up as they entered in a relationship with REGULAR girls, they simped up so hard to them that they think what's happening in their lives is completely normal and if you don't put up with their bullshit, you're obviously an asshole jerk who doesn't deserve love. And they actually tell me they hope that one day I'll find the love of my life so that I can see how wrong I am about them being miserable and how it's actually worth it.

A few close red pilled friends told me horror stories of how they lost friends to girls, they started ridiculing and shaming my friends for being single, basically using their girlfriend as an excuse to put others down for not having that status. Not to mention my own ordeal, from undergoing the false rape accusation, at least 10 of my irl friends swore off women, and none will ever wonder why I don't stare at a girl's ass as she walks by. It honestly gets to a point where this absurdity crosses a man's line, and every man has a line. You and I should be grateful we've learned all this so early on in our lives.

As for the dolls, they've started coming out since 2013 I believe, when MGTOW started blowing up, and most doll makers are MGTOW themselves wanting to help men stay away from the plantation. TPE dolls have been around for around 6-8 years and already they are anatomically idealized, perfected skeleton and have heating functions. And they're already working on sex bots. So yes, I believe they'll become much more advanced in a couple of years and the current sex dolls will be considered low-tier and much more affordable.

Nah man don't blame the actor. He's actually pretty versatile when given a chance to play different characters. He's just unfortunate enough to be type-cast as the beta simp.

I also have mixed feelings about Scott Pilgrim after taking the red pill. The story was kinda written just before society went full-blown AWALT, so I don't think it intended to push some gynocentric narrative that placed women over men or anything. Furthermore, it promotes, at least in theory, the idea self-respect triumphs over love (I mean just look at the climactic final battle between Scott and Gideon when Scott gets the upper hand after summoning the Sword of Self Respect). So Scott's character arc involved evolving from his weaker simp mentality to a degree.

However, I gotta admit, the story hasn't exactly aged well. Cuz now it just sorta looks like an example of the unicorn phenomenon, and Scott still only developed self respect with the author's intent to have him settle with the unicorn.
