He was actually crying about his kid dying in that scene. It was brilliant because it was a heavy moment seeing the tough guy open up about his past. Then he wipes his tears with money and the movie reminds you it’s a comedy

People don't actually enjoy having kids. If you see what parents go through, it looks like absolute fucking hell having kids. They only do it because they have it in their minds that you can't be a "good person" unless you have kids because that's the only way you can "do the right thing" whatever the fuck that means.
Having kids is nothing more than a gargantuan ego trip. There is nothing "good" or "right" about having kids, you just want kids because- ...there you go, you want kids, it's for your ego first and foremost. It's all about people feeling good about themselves.
Even if raising kids is an absolute fucking nightmare, as long as they convinced themselves that they've done "the right/good thing", they see themselves as the winner in life.

It's true. I've never once heard someone say they're having a child for the child's sake, i.e. because it's great to exist. It's always a selfish motive, some ego trip.

I'll even go as far as to say that having kids is the exact opposite of selflessness, it's extremely selfish. Creating a consciousness without it's consent, bringing it into a world where it's illegal for them to escape from by their own will, just so you can feel good about yourself.

Is this some sort of blackpill? People have kids because we are designed to have them. It's a survival instinct. Of course people feel good about it otherwise we wouldn't do it. Same with food, water, shelter etc. Also we are talking about MGTOW here. What is more egoistic than going your own way and disregarding everything else? If a man wants a kid he will have it and will take responsibility.

I think you are confusing 'selfishness' with 'this is bad'.
There is nothing inherently wrong with having kids or not having them. What I am against though is not looking at things as they truly are but rather blinding yourself with a comforting lie. Have kids, but acknowledge that you're doing so because you were programmed genetically to be selfish and procreate, not because "it's a beautiful wonderful good thing" that's based on nothing other than a comforting lie.
I might as well describe an omelette as "the remains of an unborn chicken mixed with sliced pieces of plants and other multiple animal parts" and I'll be judged as being black-pilled about the omelette.

And on top of everything, it's not like the fucking planet needs any more people than it already has. Fucking hell there are 7.5 billion of it. It's literally everywhere and they think they performed a miracle.

THIS

That's unbelievably biased

You're entitled to your opinion but I'll give you my reason for having kids. I always like being around kids and enjoyed being a kid. I wanted kids because it was a part of my life journey. It is hard. It's supposed to be hard if you do it right just like anything else. I'm very happy I have children even though I don't want anymore because of how boys are treated these days. To each his own but saying having kids is an ego trip is not why I have them.

"I always like being around kids" "I wanted kids because" "I'm very happy I have children"
"I always like being around kids"
"I wanted kids because"
"I'm very happy I have children"
So it's about you. You wanted kids for your ego. I'm not saying there's anything wrong or evil with that, just don't deny it for what it is.

There's some truth to the egotistical nature of rearing children. It's not like my kids had a choice to pick their parents. To each his own and I don't judge anyone that doesn't want kids. I just know I'm very happy I have them and truly enjoy watching them grow with my guidance.

Missing out on having kids?
I have nephews and nieces and other kids in my extended family.
The only thing I'm missing out on is the stress and expense of being a parent.

And you can give them back when they start stressing you out.

when they start stressing you out.
Which, if I'm being honest, doesn't take long, lol.
