Who here remembers a time before everyone seemed so angry? When did it get so bad? More importantly, why?

People here, not all, but many, are angry. You see an extreme amount of anger on forums like FDS, the gender critical forum which is gone, and others, too. You would have to live under a rock to not feel the level of anger in American Politics, and it was there before Trump so love him or hate him, he is more of a symptom than a cause. One common way I notice it is the dehumanization of people who disagree. Everyone is a Nazi, a Scrote, an incel, a racist, or whatever childish name that can be called, and for whatever objection can be found.

This is not a MGTOW thing, or an AWALT thing or a Liberal vs Conservative things, it seems to be at the very least, an internet thing, but it is also in the real world. It might be a function of how people commonly communicate ( twitter, Reddit, lots of other digital platforms) which emerged 10 to 15 years ago, but may also be something to do with how people have been manipulated to believe and hold unrealistic expectations for lifestyle, love, sex, career, and just life in general. Just a theory.

Maybe I grew up in a bubble and had my head under a rock until I was 30, but I definitely do not remember this when young, and certainly not when I was in college or just after. People were not angry all the time. Maybe they just didn't express it? Maybe they were just young and had not had the life crushed out of them?
