I was always suspicious of this kind of division when it comes to men. I don't really think that there are real "Alphas" and real "Betas" when it comes to men. For example : You can be a "beta" and have a lot of personality traits of a "beta" but you can still be a CEO of some large company. And in nature that kind of stuff doesn't happen. In nature a beta is never in charge but it happens in humans. Also you can have all the personality traits of an "Alpha" but you can work for somebody. A other reason why I think this divisin of men in alphas and betas is not so legit is because people are organised in hierarchies. For example you can be i lower menagment and all the men below you would be "betas " but to men who are above you in top menagment you would be the one who is beta. So in other worders there is almost always a bigger fish. Also lets imagine that a groups of alphas meet in a same room. Are they all still alphas because somebody in that room has to be alpha and others have to be betas according to alpha male theory. In other words you would be an alpha in one group of people but you would also be beta in another group of people so if that is true you can't really call yourself an alpha unless you are an alpha in every situation.

     And the final  and the most important reason  why I think men can't be divided into groups like alphas and betas is because it's not all black and white. Deviding men into groups of alpha and  betas would be like dividing people into into beautifull people  and ugly people forgeting that there are levels of beauty. Even though you are not beautifull doesn't mean that you are ugly. You can still be average looking.         Yes I do believe that there are levels of masculinity. There are guys who are very masculant, there are guys who are average in masculinty and there are guys who are low in their masculinty levels. I get that.         But I also think that deviding men into alphas and betas is not the most realistic thing you can do.

And worring if you are an alpha or a beta is just an unnecessary waste of your time and nerves.
