MGTOW seemed like a joke to me when I first heard about it. My dad who is paying support to my mother after the divorce told me about it around the time I was looking for a way out of my relationship with a girl I’d been dating for a few years.

After about a year going MGTOW I haven’t had anything extraordinary happen to me, but many of the bad things went away. I think going my own way has made other men notice the happiness I get by being alone, and some of them are getting ready to jump on board too!

My health has improved, and my anxiety has completely gone away.

I’ve taken up a new hobby, and am utterly obsessed with it. More so than I have ever been with any other hobby, and more so than I have been with any woman.

Women used to not pay much mind to me, but now that I am MGTOW I practically have to battle to keep them at bay. Which is crazy. If I’d known about this back in the day I could have had all the girls I wanted! (And probably child support to go with it)

Knowing that women no longer have power over me is empowering, and being the one who is desired is exciting. Not having to worry about going on dates or impressing them is even better, because I know I am happy with my workshop, my dog and myself.

One thing is certain though, MGTOW makes me sad. I want a family, but society and female behavior makes the thought of that unbearable. I will have no children to care for me when I am old, and no wife to grow old with. Aloneness is empowering, but loneliness is saddening. Maybe one day we will be the driving force in fixing the nightmare we have had to walk away from.
