I believe most of you should be familiar with this type of chart:

To those who don't know what it is, it's SMV of men and women in a same chart, that puts age on X axis and relative SMV on Y axis. Women have SMV skyrocket from early teens and only goes down very little during their early 20's.

The chart illustrates women's SMV crashing down when they hit the wall.

Men's chart is different as men only reach their peak SMV around their mid 30's only to wall after 40's.
The chart is mostly pure SMV in terms of mostly looks - Men who are high status can extend their wall quite a lot.

I thought up a little different kind of chart that is to illustrate career and optimal time for parenthood.
This is what human beings have done in virtually almost every culture, up until Modernity, where traditional cultures were set aside before modern ideals.

I apologize for the chart being so rudimentary and not very pleasant to the eye.

The arrow, i.e. age of the individual is about the same length and goes from age 18 to 70 for both sexes.

The reason why the charts don't start from the same point is that what centers them is my hypothetical optimal time for having children - i.e. the optimal time for a woman and a man to have a family and have children.

Women are naturally mostly attracted to older men because various of reasons
Men are naturally attracted to younger women, namely in their peak health fertility.

Only in our modern times have we assigned "creepiness" or other judgement to a union between approximately a woman in her early 20's and a man in his 40's (or a woman in her late teens and a man in his mid 30's).
We tend to see this with some sense of disgust, but when you look at most traditional cultures, or the history of our own, we are likely to see this as normal - The biology itself, namely pure instinctual attraction - Confirms that humans have done this for AGES.

So let's further explore this a little more:

Men usually start succeeding in their careers in their 30's and 40's in order to be fiscally able to have children and be able to support a woman whose job it would be to take care of the child and the household while the man is out to earn the living of his family.

Women have least problems birthing children in their early adulthood.

Let's just go into the scenario I illustrate:
A man is established financially, has a good career, a business, is relatively successful.
He can easily attract a young woman who is attracted in his ability to provide a life for her that she otherwise wouldn't be able to have without embarking on a career of her own. She's smart enough to listen to her biology and they become a couple and soon after have a family. She is enjoying a higher standard of living, taking care of the child, while being in love in his man who, because of his age, has much more authority and is much more manly than the males of her own age. She isn't really attracted to the males of the same age as they are just starting out and generally confused.

The man in his mid 30's or in his early 40's is not only masculine, but having already peaked in his Testosterone is able to think clearly with his upped head and is much more resilient to her manipulation etc. She finds this attractive and is happy to submit to his man who she perceives as Alpha - Her man is happy that she's young and attractive, and finds it easy to handle her quirks with his mature and more manly edge. He has already conquered his little head downstairs clouding his judgement so he is able to lead her with relative ease.

The man can naturally continue to set boundaries like her father did and she feels comfortable being feminine with masculine men doing the boundary setting and providing her security.

When the children are on the brink of adulthood themselves, our father here is already at the brink of his retirement age.
This means that he can pass all the wisdom of his career and skills directly to his children to ensure they'll avoid some of the early mistakes they could make if they were to start out without his insight. He knows the latest practical realities of work life - The current conditions of what works.

And once the children are able to work for their own money, his financial burden is greatly diminished.
He has already earned his property and his retirement.

His wife, now that she is also liberated from her children, has developed wisdom and now knows herself much better - She can go ahead and focus building a career on her own or to fully indulge in her hobbies, possibly even monetizing them. She has done her job with her kids so employers are much more open to hire her since she is no longer a risk to a company to hire. The great thing also is that she can get busy with the things SHE wants to do - Her husband can enjoy more peace and quiet in his old days while the woman is happy to be free to engage with the things she likes to do.

This is how humans used to have things in traditional cultures.

This is how we are wired to do it normally.

Now, isn't it ANY wonder how much people suffer because they feel compelled that the couples need to be aged the same while women are sold career paths in their early 20's ? Isn't this just completely obvious when it's pointed out that we have done great mistakes in modern society breaking these traditional models?

PS. Yes, yes, I know, if you are 40 years old and get a 20 year old, she'll probably don't understand this and is liable to divorce you in her mid 20's for some younger buff man just to ride more carousel. This could work maybe if you found rarely conservative / traditional woman in a country where traditional values are still strong and still it might not go this way.
