Those stats are real and have been stable for decades. Don't ever take your relationships for granted and always, always have an exit strategy.

People divorced before have a much better outcome the second time. Learn from men like me, divorced twice. I did very well the second time because I came on sites like this and asked for help.

I read somewhere recently that the 50% figure is manipulated because they only consider first marriages in that figure. There are also a number of states, like CA for instance that don't even report divorce stats to the CDC. If you count 2nd marriages, which have a 67% failure rate, and God forbid third marriages which have a 73% failure rate, the figure is much higher than 50%.

The reason this is done, is to give stupid young blokes the idea they can beat the odds. Get it through your head now, men. You can't, and the family court system will fuck you in the ass.

Crazy stats! I have seen that that 50% divorce rate includes that same people getting divorced more than once. I’ve read that the best indicator on whether or not someone will likely divorce you is if they’ve divorced someone else before.
