If your in a decently populated area, still can’t beat yard and house work for older/elderly people... how much you make typically depends on how fast you work

Ok. This is going to take a minute but please read. There’s gold here.

Find your nearest respectable carpet cleaner, and go get a job with them. Learn it quickly and learn it well. They’ll pay you shit wages but you’re there for the experience. Tell them you’re there for the long haul and get them to pay for you to become IICRC certified. Learn residential and commercial carpet cleaning. There’s a reason for this.
On your off days, go to a painting contractor and learn how to do residential painting. Every weekend and time off, learn it. There’s a reason for this.... Get your business license as an apartment turn mechanic. You talk to apartment complexes about doing “turns” when tenants move out. Repaints and carpet cleaning. Charge accordingly. Do minor repairs. When I do this, I earn $75-$150 an hour, and I have work that I can’t even get to. It’s all a side hustle. I make $65k a year at my normal maintenance job, and I could earn another $40-$50k a year evenings and weekends if i wanted to. You have to buy some carpet cleaning equipment but if you look you can find good used portables for less than $2k.

A courier can be a profitable but food isn’t the most valuable community out there.

Outside of bootlegging? It’s a tough hustle with so many participating in a gig based economy with a shaky foundation. Instead of a side hustle I’d look at an apprenticeship for a vocational trade. No matter what happens there’s always going to be demands for plumbers, electricians, welders and other blue collar jobs.

If you're a young, healthy person you can always sell your plasma.

I know that sounds like a joke, but it's really not. My young cousin did it a few times when he was hurting for money. He got like 600 bucks each time. Thing is, I think you're only allowed to do it once in a while, so it's not like you can make consistent cash with it.

Invest. For example, you might buy Bitcoin (or other cryptos) with whatever money you can spare. This is a long term thing. Don't expect to get rich overnight. You're 20 and the investments you make now are aimed squarely at your 30's, at the earliest.

Figure out what your biggest talent is. Most people have at least one big talent that they can monetize. A friend of mine discovered a talent for woodworking and it eventually became his main business. You just wouldn't believe what people are willing to buy for their wedding, for example. But it can be something else. Another friend cleans up by giving singing lessons. Figure out your big talent and then figure out a way to charge money for it. This is more of a mid term thing.

If you're not going to school then get a full time job (doing whatever) and then do obvious stuff on the side. A college friend made a cottage industry of doing computer repairs and home IT shit for Boomers because he was willing to do house calls. He nearly doubled his income with that since Boomers loved sharing his contact info with their friends. This is more of a short term thing.

If you've got more of an entrepreneurial mindset, I recommend going out into the world. Go to a restaurant or a mall or book store or whatever tf. Look around you and ask yourself what you see, hear, touch, etc. Then figure out a way to get in on some part of that.

I did a few deals with a guy who clears thousands of dollars per month selling silverware and napkins to local independently-owned restaurants. The woodworking friend made his first major deal building high quality wine racks for a wine specialty store. Another friend of mine has a deal with the county to recycle their old decommissioned telephone poles, makes a fucking fortune. A former partner of mine did pretty well selling metal shelves for supermarket delivery trucks. It wasn't his main thing but he bought himself a new Mustang.

I've operated several side businesses over the years doing similar things and they're usually quite profitable due to a lack of competition.

The key is finding something that 99% of people overlook and then getting in on that. Who delivered the palm trees outside that hamburger restaurant? Where does the nail salon buy their potpourri? Who sells windows to mall department stores? Who maintains the cell tower you drive by on the freeway every day? Can you replace any of them? If not, what supplies do they need in order to do their jobs? Pay attention to your surroundings and then get in on what you see, hear, touch, smell, etc.

You'll be fucking astounded by how many business opportunities surround you every day that you have completely ignored.

commodity supercycle might be upon us. Investing in silver, copper, lithium and uranium seems like a good idea right now. Learn to fundamentally analize assets. Learn how to price things against other things. Learn why the stockmarket is as high as it is. Learn from history and see what applies to our current situation. Come to your own educated conclusion on what to invest in and at what price. Try to be in the next big thing when it takes off. Look for future trends and invest accordingly. Be there before everyone else. Once you got that nailed down you'll be fine. Don't chase trends.

Another option is to be highly specialized and highly professional in your field and charge accordingly. Be good at what you do and don't sell yourself below value.

Probably a combination of the two. Build income stream from providing goods/services of high quality then invest into future trends. Don't get married and retire early as soon as you can live off the income stream your investements provide.Most important of all: don't let a woman live off of you. You can either slave for pussy or retire early and happy. You can't have both.

The time you spend on women is better used learning skills to increase your lifequality.

Get a IT certificate in something. The courses are like 2-3 months and starting salaries are like 70 80k not bad at all for a 20 year old. I say this bc I will do that. 1 of the 3 things I'm working on now.

Lots of demand in IT and you can work from home especially in this bs covid nonsense and save money and keep investing.

This life, my main goal is 1. And that is to make as much Vitamin M (money) as possible. That's it.
