What follows is my response to a particular MGTOW question today but I feel as though it deserves its own OP. I am sure that it has been covered many other times so my hope is that this discussion is a bit different:

Mr. Empty

Your feelings are quite typical of mgtow post red pill rage. After you've realized most of your motivation came from some deformed hyper-masculine competition for topshelf vagina, a lot of men will struggle with meaning... because such a journey requires that we pass through a real existential crisis. Sadly it means that we have very little reasons for living. Our reasons have to come from an actual deep level of reflection on meaning itself... not one which can so easily mask the work of natural feminine hypergamy: like religion does so well.

It is superficial to have to admit that regardless of our lofty ideals that men lose their motivation to contribute to a society that is inherently based on misandry. That the dreams we had we're such that we were looking to display what women want most to use in men. At the end of this process the emptiness will be revealed as the internalization of WhoreCulture, and yes it won't be you but the world around you that needs meaning.

In existentialism there happens to be other forms of existential crisis moments in our lives where our most basic values come into question or are broken down. This is a well-researched area of all human lives, which deals with our mortality, our cosmological insignificance, our fundamental disconnect with any reservoir of meaning, etc.

You are on a very rare heroic Journey one that few people have the courage to face. Most people will fall back into the comforting lies they need to push on down the easy path of culturally approved narratives. But once you pass through this Overton window, you will gain the power to craft your own meaning in a very nietzschean way.

The thing about moments like this is that you simply have to look at all of this and say yes to life.

In my opinion real courage is formed not by giving up, but by making a kind of Sisyphus or stoic decision to forgo every comforting myth and make your life heroic on your own terms. And you will know when you have arrived because a kind of existential hero does not require any type of evil to vanquish. ( because real evil comes into this world at the hands of people trying to rid the world of evil) ......just don't be that guy.

You're not in some kind of doldrums of meaninglessness you're actually standing on the possibilities of your own self-love and Individuality.
