This is what stoic philosophy is about - rising above your base biological impulses and ceasing to be a puppet to your desires.

Our society glorifies pursuing of bodily pleasure as the ultimate ideal over virtue which is why we are experiencing the current epidemic of depression and prescription/street drug addictions. Pornography and the media glamorizes all sorts of weird degenerate acts as being the norm and it's brainwashing everyone from early age.

I don't think it's weak or stupid to admire the female form. After all they are what nature created over millions of years of evolution. If you are fetishizing then that's your issue but our culture makes that very easy to do.

For example I find the whole 'big booty' phenomenon grotesque but that's what gets pushed by media and likely feminists because they want to normalize obesity which is antithetical to what nature has provided us with and mutated the beauty of the natural forms.

I disagree. Yeah, its natural to a certain extent. It isn’t where you have to pretend to be all crazy about them to prove your not gay. Its like by default you are assumed to be gay if your not nuts about those things. I say to a certain extent because have you listened to “popular” music lyrics? What about movies? They all present you an ideal of sex, so high up there that when you try it. Its just; meh. Reality is sobering at least. Most guys eat these ideas up, I call them propaganda turds, because they were made to make you think irrationally about things such as chicks.

Nah all those take a lot of effort. Just fix the problem at the source. Become resistant and conscious of these things influencing your mind and stomp them. Take control of your mind instead of letting “others” control your mind for you.

All there is to this matter is the level of one's hormonal sex drive though. So I do not play the game of mistaking my personal preference for moral strength and neither should you. Find the balance that works best for you but do not believe yourself superior to others due to that choice.
