People are worried about terrorist attacks and recessions but they're not worried about divorce which has a 50% risk. I don't understand how someone can tell me to be rational but ignore statistics when it comes to their own marriage. If you ask them they will say the probability of divorce is almost 0% because they picked the right partner and the divorce statistic doesn't apply to them. They will say the real divorce rate is only high because the other couples married for the wrong reasons and keep getting divorced.
