Relax, you aren't any special, nor is your post, I have nothing against you. We do this all the time, it is just the guidelines. Just repost in the OYS weekly, and keep up the good work of self improvement. You are taking the right steps.
It is that if each of the 5000k users we have was allowed to post their "first week" steps in this sub would be swallowed by that. Nothing against you, just doing my job as a mod.
I do like your commitment and concrete steps you are taking, so I do encourage you to keep it up, and post regularly in OYS as a way to keep yourself accountable.

Also, on your question regarding fashion, if you gave up after a Google search you aren't trying hard enough. Find resources or a 'look' you want and search for it.

Think clearly of your vision and your priorities. What is more important for you as father: to brush his teeth now, or to teach him about brushing his teeth? I know we all want both, but in parenting, often we have to be patient, because the real goal is not to get them to do what we want, but to teach them something, and that takes longer.

agreed... the problem / pressure is, the dentist told us he has lot's of dental plaque, which can turn to caries. So it's important AND urgent
