Do you plan to stay in the military for a meaningful amount of time? Try making connections with the administration side, here in the US officers can make bank when they're out by consulting/contracting for the gov or for contractors/vendors to the gov or go into politics. Your med benefits, stability, and status as an officer that you would provide will definitely make her feel safe in the interim before you make that leap into private life.

There’s a reason why historically men are taught to be the bread winner (earn more than the women). Its in our DNA. With money comes power, authority, and rules don’t apply to you as much as they do to others. Men need to feel masculine.

Entrepreneurs have to use all they can - looks, charm, smarts, effort into their work. As a woman, she’ll dress nicely, put in effort, enter rooms filled with men (and often dirty old bastards). She’ll be ‘mentored’ and have drinks to advance her career. If you’re insecure now, wait till you see her in her environment.

Imagine a business dinner where she brings you along. You’ll be in a room of executives, watching her mingle/hug other rich men, while knowing you make the least out of them. ‘What does he do? Oh…’

Not all men want to go through living like that. You need either an strong frame, or be a guy who doesn’t mind making less (like a stay at home dad).

Your gut is telling you its a bad situation. ALWAYS trust your gut. It isn’t just about the money - its also everything else. The status, how you’re viewed when you walk together, what she does day to day, feeling replaceable and inadequate. You’re gut is telling you you’re being cucked. It isn’t her fault, its just the world we live in.
