Good Enough is a phrase that is as unique as your fingerprint. To some, it means they are content with where they are. To others, it is used to justify lack of motivation to push further. For me, it’s completely weaksauce.

I am just another Married Man; I have no authority to judge you or tell you whether you are doing enough. What I can do is have you objectively look at where you are in life and have you determine if that is an acceptable place for you to remain, if that place is good enough for you.

I wrote a post about leaving the gag ON the table and this is a sort of continuation of that point. As I stated then and again state now, the quality of your relationship is entirely dependent on you and the standard you maintain. By setting the bar from which your wife will measure other Men you are also setting a standard from which you will live your life. It is a standard that must be enforced, similar to a boundary in the sense that it is up to you to refuse subpar performance from your family, avoid rewarding failure.

If those around you are not meeting your expectations there must be consequences and ultimately the knowledge that you will leave. The dread created by a Man who is owning his shit and following his mission knows no bounds. Your woman will know that if she does not perform, she will be sent on her way to a mediocre existence with some other BetaBux. This only works if you are the Family Alpha. You must be the Man with the plan who is setting the standard for others to emulate. Nobody can fuck with you if you are outperforming them.

This means you need to be in better shape, improving personally and professionally, and doing all of the other things TRP and MRP promote for the development of an all-around solid Masculine dude. If you’re a fat weaksauce piece of shit, then don’t expect your wife to give a fuck what your standard is, if you can’t meet it then she sure as fuck won’t.

This brings me to the point, what is Good Enough?

As stated, that’s up to you. As for me, I’m at the point where I’m competing against myself. I have the marriage I want, I’m improving my personal hobbies, writing a book, creating a blog, fucking my wife nonstop and sticking to my lifting/nutrition program. It still isn’t Good Enough.

I find joy in the moment I am content with my life and the experiences I’m creating with my kids. Saying it isn’t good enough doesn’t mean I’m not happy, it means that the game we are playing never ends.

Take a look at your situation.

  • Do you want more sex, but accept that 3 times a week is good enough?

  • Are you a dude with fantasies, but your wife said she won’t wear that costume or gag so you guess, just missionary with some doggy style here and there is good enough?

  • You’re not as fat as your neighbor, do you think your physique is good enough?

You get my point, there is always room for improvement. Don’t accept good enough from your wife, children, or employer. They will all give you just enough to keep you around. Just enough is much higher when you’re a Man who doesn’t settle for good enough.
