This is a low effort post. When I browse r/marriedredpill I expect to see quality writing not unlike a published journal or magazine.

If you have questions you can post to /r/askMRP but this post does not meet the quality requirements of that sub either.

If you post in OYS weekly on Tuesdays you could include such low effort questions as a footnote there.

Childeren are dependent, they should be completely within your frame.

Sure, if the mistake calls for it. The mistake a lot of parents seem to make is spankings without the proper discussion to put the punishment in context. You’ve got to sit the child down after and tell them their mistake, why it was a mistake, what they should have done, and why it is that you punished them.

Edit: like others said, this is a low effort post, and belongs in askMRP or the redpillfatherhood subreddit.

I've always believed in spanking as long as it's corrective in nature and not vindictive punishment. But I was challenged on this recently by a mod here and these articles were shared with me. I'm still not against corporal punishment in some cases, especially when children are younger, but a great case was made for there being far better ways to discipline a child.

You should be able to think of other ways to punish or teach your child lessons. Spanking is just an angry parents way of saying they don’t know what else to do.
