Damn that's fucked up. Sorry you're having to deal with this man. Hopefully you can get full custody soon

Lawyer? Maybe. If you have been keeping good documentation of taking care of the kid you should be fine. Receipts for clothes, bed, pictures, food logs etc Make a binder and have it ready for any disputes. If she's not keeping her side of the deal then take her ass to court.

You said you can do profit and loss in your head so you're probably already familiar with all of this. If the company is public you can also lookup the revenue per employee. A small sized company will be at 100k. Medium to large companies 200k. And then you have the tech giants like Apple, google and Facebook that pull in over a million per employee. Most companies are not like those tech giants. But generally the larger the company the more efficient they can be and the more you can make. You a…

How the fuck do I know how much I’m worth? You need to put in the work. When you have 3-5 post negotiation offers in hand you'll have a better idea of your market value. When I was job searching I already had two offers in hand and when a third came in I shot for the moon. I learned where my ceiling was in that area at that time. If you live in a big city you should have no trouble getting a lot of offers. Keep in mind you're not going to give a fuck about the offers you turn down. Use the offer…

The strategy here is simple: make yourself attractive to all women and then choose one. There's a lot in that single sentence that you could unpack such as: LIFT Be attractive. Don't be unattractive. Be attractive in your speech and behavior, not only your appearance. Game your LTR Continue to game other women Groom yourself Stop being fat Notice all of these are things that you do. Stay in your own frame. Look at the world through your own eyes. What do you want? When you succeed in being attra…

danger is real but fear is a choice This is a complex topic and I don't have this subject fully unpacked myself. There's nothing inherently wrong with fear or any other emotion. Each helped our ancestors survive. If your car stalls on the train tracks and you see smoke, fear will give you the adrenaline and motivation to move your ass. Is this danger or is it fear? Danger is the objective reality. Fear is our subjective experience. Fear is only a problem when there's a disconnect and we can obje…

Wow. You wrote a lot. It must bother you. Let her go. If she sends you gang bang pictures then you know she's not "the one". Seriously, if you were focused on yourself and your own mission you wouldn't give this a second thought. Let her do her and you do you. It's not that complicated.

Half repping bastard. Seriously, I like how you pulled that concept into marriage at the end. You should expand on that. In general I wish the guys who post these little nuggets would instead save it to their hard drive and think on it for a few weeks. Expand it. Edit it. Add value to it. Then post it. Not a little nugget of value but something that's sidebar worthy.

You don't mention porn use. Do your research. Porn, prolactin, dopamine, coolidge effect. I'm assuming you're not using SSRIs since you didn't mention them. But I assume you do/have used porn even though it's not mentioned.

In a way, creating desire in a woman is having her take her own red pill. You'll have to elaborate. Heard people (maybe you) mention the book the surrendered wife. If the wife adopts RP principals then it can help for sure. But as far as "creating desire in a woman" I see that as a dead end attempt. Not that it's not possible but more like, it's the wrong mindset. RP easy mode (unmarried) is casting a wide net. There's going to be a girl out there that genuinely desires you. The more fit you are…

You know exactly why you won’t ever look at her that way The desire is inauthentic I may be misreading but it sounds like you're expressing the bluepill dream that she would love you for who you are instead of what you provide. Learning the RP truth is tough to swallow but once it's down it shouldn't matter. All of life is like this. People don't care about you. Only what you provide to them. The reason this is the case is because most people are children. Once you take the father's role you get…

Everyone is right that SSRIs can decrease sex drive but keep in mind that you cannot control your wife's behavior. You can only control you. MRP is about fixing the man. It's not about fixing the man and then fixing the wife. You fix you and then you do what you want. If you want to tell your wife to get off antidepressants then tell her. What happens after the words leave your mouth is not under your control.

Keep her focused on these things. Lead your house on this shared mission. Instead of Captain/FO, I prefer thinking in business terms. You're the owner. Your house is a business. Take care if it. Your wife may be an employee with stock options or the CFO. Whatever position you give her it's your job to make sure the business is a success. She has to know her role and get recognition for her contributions and you have to shield her from the BS of reality (shield her from RP truths). If your boss a…

Emotions follow actions. Often we think we do something because it feels good but the reality is we feel good because we do something. Even if it feels unnatural or like a cyborg do it anyway. trust issues were brought up again. I provided comfort and let her get it all out. You did good. She was saying "can I trust you with my emotions?" You were an oak and you let her give/express emotion. Sex ensued shortly after. It's like the yin and yang. She gives emotion, you receive, then you give and she receives. betrayal. It's the worst form of pain for some reason and I don't quite know why. Your body doesn't want to raise another man's offspring. Those feelings are hardwired from thousands of years of natural selection. With today's technology you can be sure they're your kids. Let your hamster take a break.

/u/Daddy_ThunderCock ProTip: When you find yourself trying to control others that's a hint that you don't believe you have control over yourself. Center yourself. Bring your focus where it belongs: inside your own skull. See if you can manage what goes on in there. That should keep you so busy that you don't have time worrying about what others are doing or who they're fucking (it's me btw. Your wife is fucking me). It's true. Trying to come up with activities isn't a bad idea. But it would be hard to do after a long day of work and putting the kids to bed. All day you need covert game and sometimes you need overt communication. Just tell her what you want. Don't use guilt or manipulation. Don't ask if she wants x. any decision I make now is for me... and me alone. Yep. You have to live your life the way you see fit. You can't live for any other person. Altruism is not sustainable. When we do something for someone else it's because we want to do it. Our brains are wired to get a reward for contributing to the society whether it's for your kids or spouse or whatever. My point is, even when we do something for someone else we are doing it selfishly because we get a reward. And there's nothing wrong with that…

Since you're not dead I'm assuming you take insulin. Stop taking for a while and see how fast the pounds come off. You may go blind and have to amputate your feet in the process but it's the new diet craze! Type 1 diabetes! Everyone is wanting it.

Here's the deal. You have a ton of hormones that cause you to burn fuel: aldosterone, cortisol, adrenaline, and noradrenaline... but if only 1 for storage: insulin. Type 1 diabetics cannot produce insulin. They cannot gain weight no matter how much they eat and without exogenous insulin they die. The trick of diets like Keto is to take advantage of this fact and minimize the body's insulin. Low insulin low storage. What causes insulin spikes? Sugar first and foremost. Complex carbohydrates and p…

Feedback is crucial. It helps close the learning gap. For those that seek growth the biggest obstacle by far is that you don't know what you don't know. You may have the will to change but your blind spot prevents progress. Having a personal coach is probably the closest thing to a short cut. Anything else will take years of grinding and trial and error even for those who consistently seek change and feedback. Failures pile up but you get stronger over time.

Eh not exactly. All men want hot women. Doesn't matter which social class they belong to. Men mate up, down, around. Doesn't matter so long as they're hot. Women only mate up and across dominance hierarchy. An ideal arrangement might be a low class beauty paired with a higher class male. Both would get what they want. Generally no. Sales and finance are separate from software development and I've never cared what they sale our stuff for or how that's handled. Software VPs have budgets but just for employee training and equipment. We are a public company and I can see all the financials. This can be a good persuasive tactic. But it's extremely difficult to quantify value. As a software engineer I write applications other employees use to get their job done and sometimes I write tools that other software engineers use to get their job done. Often such tools are invaluable but I can't demand an infinite amount of money. And without the company and people needing my tools my code wouldn't be valuable. It's mutually beneficial. Wife works so that shouldn't happen. And I live in a state with good divorce laws. That said, I wouldn't let that be a factor for staying. If it's over then kill it and move on with your life. I don't say that lightly. Ive been seriously considering it the last few months. And having that mentality makes m…

I never said it would be easy. I know you have kids which makes it hard. I asked you in your OYS post how that's going. Looking at your comments it looks tough. I don't doubt it is. Back to my comment, it looks like OP doesn't have any kids. IMO married without kids is not much different from dating. So why not do what you want. If he does have kids then he's a retard and needs to be putting his energy into those little rugrats. I'm married with kids

A month later "Ex Wife branch swung to another woman. Help!" Everyone else is saying don't do it, it's a shit test etc but honestly I'd do it. Fuck it. If she branch swings who cares. Fuck two chicks at the same time and move on. If she's just joking and it's a shit test who cares about that either. My wife knows I'd like to fuck two chicks at the same time. I don't hide my sexuality. Just be like yeah that'd be great don't forget the whip and I'll bring the cream.

There's examples where people stood their ground and persuaded the opposition with zero leverage and no possibility of plan B. People want to save face. People want to get along. She only gets fussy if I've recently bought something. Which is why I mentioned I've learned to say yes occasionally. I recently bought protein powder so I let her buy some prints of the kids pictures. I'm not a spender at all so I have "leverage" to say no. As long as it's fair and she's a reasonable person she should follow. Like I said in my comment you should look into using cash. She's a SAHM. She has the time and needs to learn how to manage money.

Which is why I thought he should try cash and let her learn how to manage her spending that way. She's a SAHM and has time to mange the inconvenience of cash. But it's his ship not mine so I don't care what he does honestly. In general I don't think there's a one size fits all for managing money. I don't have the patience for micromanaging every single transaction.

You're right. OP needs to build trust and get his wife on board with him being the leader. I've tried all of the above and my wife went along with whatever setup I tried. But even if the wife is on board you can't control her every decision. Micromanaging doesn't work. Having her ask permission for non necessities works for me.

I wonder if MRP is a stage to get into Spell it out dipshit. MARRIED Red Pill. It's RP while being married. All the same principals apply. A man and woman's biology doesn't change because you wear a ring or sign a contract with the government. But that contract does change the dynamic significantly. Blue Pill men exchange a portion of their manhood for her comfort. A lot of men come here after years or even a decade of blue pill brainwashing. Did everything by the book and it all back fired. If I get woke up for whatever reason I can't go back to sleep. Once my brain gets going it won't turn off. Fortunately I'm a deep sleeper and could sleep through a hurricane so it's not been an issue. If I have a hard time falling asleep due to stress one technique I have use is to write everything down. Get it out of my mind and on to paper. It's like my brain can unload it. Seems to work for small to medium stressors. Not so much for big ones like lawsuits. :/

I recently went from 10mg to 5mg lexapro. I've seen a big boost in motivation and sex drive. SSRIs really do fuck up desire. Look up a drugs half life to see how you might go about tapering off. I know if I get lazy and go on a couple month break I don't appear to lose much muscle but I'm weak as hell in the gym and quickly gain the strength back in 2 weeks. 5/3/1 will train your nervous system and you will learn to use all of your muscl…

Just do a 1RM. Don't calculate it. And to compare progress when switching programs I would say just make sure you go to failure on your last set. If you're doing that then you know you're at the same "level" and properly challenging yourself regardless of the workout routine.
/r/MarriedRedPill27/08/19 03:41 PM

OP, 1 RM is fine if you can walk into the gym today and actually put up that weight. Don't use online calculators for a 1RM estimate and don't use PR that you can't do today. If by "working weights" you mean "what I can actually lift" then yeah your 1RM is bullshit. Just post your most recent workout and what you actually did.

Yep. With men owning your shit + vulnerability = massive respect. It's the way we bond. I don't believe women are capable of respecting men. To respect someone is to have some sort of desire to emulate them. Women do not want to emulate men, rightfully so. I've been reading The Rational Male and he points out that men love women whereas they return adoration and affection. Adoration is kind of like respect but for those that are "higher status". Worship and veneration.

Bringing out the old posts! I like that post. I like your comment as well. You may be right that is something different than a dysfunctional captain. I was describing my brother in law at the time and left out a lot of specific details. Since then he is divorced and became so depressed from his oneitis that he quit his job and became a literal bum. As in homeless. Over a woman. Pathetic. After listening to him complain about her I remember asking him "What's your plan?" He looked dumbfounded lik…

/r/askMRP12/08/19 05:53 PM

Hence the need for a prenup. Everyone should get one. We shouldn't be gambling on staying with that person forever. And IMO when the courts routinely give women alimony and half the man's money they're actively encouraging divorce. A prenup like this can create dread which can make the marriage more stable.

Prenups are not just for existing wealth. You can state that her debt is not your responsibility and have her waive the right to alimony. You may be able to protect any future wealth you create such as starting your own business or your retirement accounts. My wife has no retirement so she would get half of mine.

I don't know anything about immigration law. If you got divorced would you have to move back to the states? Imagine having kids with her, loving them to death then she divorced you and you can't see your kids again. That would be divorce rape to a whole new level. Can you move her to the states? If she is dependent on you it would make the marriage a lot more stable. Women initiate divorce like 80% of the time and if she would have to leave her kids she will be forced to live in your frame. Maybe you're right but I don't see the distinction. I see being a man and being a sexual man as the same thing. There's no separating the sexual nature from the man. A man's first needs are food and physical security from the elements and enemies. Second need is sex. And there is no third need. Everything we do, the businesses we create, the empires we build, the wars we wage are all because of our sexual directive. A man who is true to his nature will naturally attract a women. Redpill is a sexual strategy. What is meant by that? Is it just to get pussy? Or is it broader? I would say broader. Men are deeply sexual beings. Nearly everything we do has to do with sex. Redpill is the realization of this. For me having a sexual strategy includes leading my family and leading others outside the family. It may not directly lead to sex but a leader typically has more access. I also view being an involved father as part of the sexual strategy. It's not going to get you laid but…

You'd probably need 200k in LA or San Francisco to reach this max happiness level. The point of the studies is the brain quickly adapts to whatever circumstance you're in. Dopamine receptors desensitize. Having more doesn't make people happier after all their basic needs are met (Maslow's hierarchy). After material needs people seek self actualization. Meaning, purpose etc. You hear stories of people building businesses, making millions, achieving their goals and once they reach the top they get…

Data from both animal and human models highlight the particularly sensitive period of adolescence for adverse effects of mar…

There could be many reasons the subconscious wants to create distance. Could be feeling unworthy, could be from abuse.. it would likely vary from person to person and depend on their past.

A covert contract inevitably leads to unmet expectations and resentment. It creates distance. You're right that conflict avoidance is also a reason people engage in covert contracts. I would say the conscious reason a person creates a covert contract is conflict avoidance while the subconscious reason is to create distance which protects the ego. The self sabotage comes into play when someone consciously tries to improve but their subconscious is not on board and they end up undermining their ow…

What if I don't want to give at all because I'm a selfish asshole? Should I listen to my pride and tell everyone to go fuck themselves? This is a FR that this mindset doesn't work and I'm learning how to overcome my pride. Perhaps the other comments in this thread will help you understand the situation. I think a lot of people deal with fear and have to stand up to their wives by saying no. My issue is pride and I have to stand up to my pride by saying yes.
/r/MarriedRedPill19/04/18 03:39 PM

Yes. "Let me think about it" even if my mind is made up is a good approach to diffuse her. Tomorrow or next month she may not want it so bad. Saying a hard no immediately back fires.

Everything. I decided what was important to me and I did it without any regards to her emotions or priorities. This was pre-red pill and RP gave me ammo to justify being an asshole. As an experiment I started saying yes to every small thing and it's been a big improvement. What she asks is small and doesn't put me out at all. I think these are comfort tests that I've been failing.

In my opinion you should not remove attention for her not giving sex. You should remove attention when she acts like a child, has a temper tantrum or does some other negative thing. You remove attention instead of retaliating or DEERing. If she says no to sex it's not a big deal. You'll try again another night. Maybe tonight you'll go to the gym to let off steam or use porn. You're not responding to hurt her or because you're butthurt. You're just taking care of yourself.

Same here. I view my wife as an aquaintence not a friend. We do things together and spend quality time but she doesn't get me like my close male friends do. I think it's healthy to not make your wife your everything like that anyway.

I have close friends that are not my wife. And co-workers that are not my wife. And buddies that I drink beer with that are not my wife. I'm happy for you that you can do all those things with your wife but that is not how I want to live my life.

That's good that your wife is also your friend. She's also everything else on the list Good. I'm happy for you. This is not the case for most people.

Oneitis has evolutionary roots. It's useful for your offspring if the parents stay together. You have no kids. Get the fuck out. Your emotions have no idea that contraception exists.

I don't think a hard yes is in order yet, because it's hard to say how long she has. She had radiation which helped but her health and age won't allow surgical removal of the cancer or chemo. So radiation to extend her life was the only option. If its growing back and it appears it is then she might have a year or 2 or 3 or even more. My guess would be 2 years but these things are hard to know. If she was more advanaced and it was clearly under a year then I can see a hard yes being the right mo…

I was leaning to only if she's terminal but /u/red-sfpplus has made me consider it shouldn't be a hard no even if it's not terminal. And to consider her being downstairs.

Several people in my family have died from cancer. Cancer is unpredictable. She could have 5 years or 1 year. She has more than 6 months for sure but she will probably be bad off in another year. Does she want to move in? Yes.

Does wife work? If so I assume this will continue? Yes. Yes. Any kids still loving at home? They live at home and yes they love it lol Define what “take care of” is. Is she cleaning up shit and spoon feeding her daily? I imagine she just wants to be close and spend time with her before she dies. She is not yet end of life but yeah it may involve cleaning up shit when it gets to that point but I'm sure we will use actual hospice too if it's covered via insurance or cheap. Does MIl have a living s…

She is on social security, has her own car. Doesn't eat a whole lot. Financially there would be no impact. And whatever food she eats I'm sure we would use her as an occasional babysitter for free. That is, if she moved in before she was end of life. So, finances are a wash. We are not paying her medical bills or anything like that.

I wondered the same thing before my vasectomy. She will probably grieve the idea of not having a fourth because a vasectomy is so permanent. It will effect her. You need to try and get her on board before you do it. It's not about being alpha or not because it involves your literal balls. In her mind it's about you making a decision that effects her without her input. But it's your body and you obviously have that right to snip without her input. But the decision is what she would be upset about…

This whole post seems like you want a cookie for standing up for yourself. Do you want a cookie? Here have one: you are the man for standing up for yourself. You should be proud. Seriously tho, why are you posting this? You should be doing other things. Like lifting. Edit: and you downvote because you're butthurt lol. You have a lot of work to do.

The right answer is to do what you want. If you want to sleep with other hot girls then do it. Don't live a life of regret. Will you look back and say "I wish I would have slept with all those hot girls"? If so, then sleep with said girls. On the other hand if you think you will look back and say "I wish I wouldn't have slept with that girl and ruin my marriage and future relationship with unborn child", then focus on your wife. Do what you want. If you realize you really want to be with your wi…

The point? If you're asking "why marry an American woman when I can marry a submissive foreign woman?" The answer is do whatever the fuck you want. But seriously, IMO American women who are independent and don't put up with bullshit bluepillers are actually a good thing and healthy for society.

That's a big part of it. Probably the biggest. Society also gives her expectations via feminism. And she also learns expectations from her father and other men.

Telling said dude to act above the bar won't work. "Do not try to work above the bar, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no bar. Then you'll see that it is not the bar that fucks, it is only yourself"

I agree in an ideal world we should see at least reciprocal treatment but the reality is men don't get sick days. Someone has to be the rock and someone has to be the "parent". If it's not you then she will disrespect you.

I've had situations like this, handled it correctly and it ends just like this, she goes on and acts like nothing happened. Which is actually a good thing. If I had handled it poorly I wouldn't have heard the end of it.

In the short term: carve out some time away from the kids to talk about this. Ask her side of the story. Do not give your side. Do not DEER. Ask specific questions. Ask her how that made her feel. Ask her what she would like you to do. Ask her why she didn't think shoveling would work. Perhaps she has good reasons. If so, own your shit. Perhaps she has bad reasons, if so, shut the fuck up but do not apologize. Either way you let her express her emotions and decrompress the situtation. After she …

I agree with the advice to not bring up salary early on. The company is deciding if you are a good fit. If you bring up salary before them you are assuming they already want to hire you and that can come across as arrogant which may cause them to pass altogether. The hiring process is largely emotional and not logical. In my experience you want them to fall in love with you to the point that the hiring manager has already told his manager that you're a great fit because you can do x and y and z.…

build a successful career with the company You have a misunderstanding of what a career is. You build your career. Its not about the company, it's about you. Your skills, your knowledge, your experience and what you can bring to the industry. If your company tanks your career does not tank. You have a job, you do not have a career. As /u/Rian_Stone pointed out, replace business with marriage. The same concept applies. You do not build a marriage, you build yourself.

100%/100% is the right ratio for a family alpha. It doesn't cost alpha points to give beta comfort. You can be anywhere on the scale. 0%/100% Beta Male, 100%/0% Alpha Male, 0%/0% Omega Male.

This helps a ton. I just looked at your comment history and read where you told the story of a 5 star restaurant and saying "no" to a valet. Jackofhearts shows up and says he should have done the valet. That seems to be my most recent problem with the car seats. Saying "no" and following through when I should have said "yes".

It's the opposite. I tell her no the majority of the time and she is pissy about it. I told her I was tired and would do it in the morning. I didn't see it as a big deal but she did. She saw it as, I would leave the kids in the house by themselves unsupervised while I installed them. I told her later I would install them with the kids in the van when I was ready to leave. She hadn't thought about that possibility so all she saw was the kids being unsupervised. The root issue is she doesn't trust…
