What the fuck. My gf/fiancé just walked out on me with my three year old son. This is what I’ve been wanting for months but now that it’s happened I feel empty. I feel like I’ve failed my son. This guy is pretty much me, except I have no sort of financial success yet.

Blue pill ideal- the way I would phrase what Tom is trying to communicate is: there's a difference between actually building a traditional nuclear family and believing in/wanting a fairy tale life. Nuclear families are the norm for humans but shit happens. Spouse may die, kid may die, spouse may cheat on you, you may get fired from a job, get depressed and she leaves you. you have to be prepared for whatever life throws at you.

Is Rollo universally respected by this sub? He has a lot of great insight to offer, I just worry taking one individual too seriously. I understand why he operates under a pseudonym for privacy reasons. Is there something special about him other than his books that give him credibility?
