Went to the local health Center and found out I can't get help for clinical depression and talking to someone about my wife who has BPD with someone who actually understands it and can help,unless I want to give up my gun rights what is wrong with usa This is exactly why men never get the help they need I'm not going to unarm myself and take away my second amendment rights that doesn't help me in any way I never suicidal so that's just pointless.

This is really sad. Men asking for help but not able to get any must be the cruelest joke ever.

Keep looking! Maybe there are male support groups, or counselors, where at least you can talk?

The only way I could get it is to pay $150+ a visit on a psychiatrist. That doesn't accept medicaid or medicare because they're the only ones who only use paper systems now. (The government basically forced every doctor's place to put everything online they claim it's so you can get help easier when you go around but it's really just so they can hack and look at your files) And would be willing to help

I'm really really sorry about that.

I'm not a gun owner, but I can understand that to a lot of people, the right to bear arms is a fundamental part of their lives. Despite that, I think your mental health seems to be a priority and you should try to find a work around (giving the gun to a loved one or a family member) for the time being to seek help for your clinical depression.

While you have a point as to OP's options (which he should take seriously), you also bring up something unrelated that crosses over into rule 1 territory, which is why I am removing this comment and its subthread.
