Spit-balling an idea for discussion..
Intro
"Toxic Masculinity" by definition is: [A collection of] socially destructive standards of behavior among men in contemporary American and European society that encourage domination of others, devaluation of women, and emotional stoicism. The term toxic masculinity describes certain aspects of hegemonic masculinity that harm others, such as misogyny, homophobia, and violence, while other toxic masculine norms, such as self-reliance, seeking power over women, and sexual promiscuity or "playboy" behavior, are correlated with harm to men themselves through psychological problems such as depression, increased stress, and substance abuse.
"Examples" of these behaviors, seem (So far as I've witnessed and understood) to be prevalent and exaggerated in groups where older male interactions (Fathers, Grandfathers, Religious leaders, Teachers, etc..) are severely lacking; As they have been removed by some means. Be it through Divorce, ending of the relationship, physical relocation, etc..
Question
Would it be absurd to simplify the concept as something that was created by feminism? Not just as a concept, but rather in it's happening?
Edit - Question asked another way: Would it be a bad/stupid idea to counter a claim of toxic masculinity with something like "Toxic masculinity is the masculinity taught by feminists/women."?
Reasoning
There seems to be a consensus of thought that it is feminism that has driven men out of children's lives. That removal of all/most male figures except directly aged peers is what seems to give rise to the behaviors that get masculinity labeled "toxic". As there is no male role model to learn from, the boys learn about being men from women, the media, and each other.

I believe as females are seeking power over males, it is actually femininity that is toxic.

If feminism was a good idea, it would translate to more money in a man's pocket. No good idea can ever be considered good unless it brings home more bacon.

I'm familiar with that channel, don't recall that discussion though. Would you happen to have a link?

I thought I had.. I guess to put it another way:
Would it be a bad/stupid idea to counter a claim of toxic masculinity with something like "Toxic masculinity is the masculinity taught by feminists/women."?
